Sky Sports: Werder Bremen have confirmed the signing of Chelsea striker Claudio Pizarro on a permanent basis after he impressed during a loan spell with the German club last season.

Not sure how much for though.

I read somewhere the fee is believed to be in the region of 5 mln EU. Decent price for a player we didn't really need. Wish him all the best, Germany seems like the place for him to be.

I'll echo the comments here. He seems very likeable, and I wish him all the best.

Pizzaman, Inca Bomber, whatever, I hope he helps lead Werder to the title this year and im sure with another 20+ goals he will give them a good shot

Wages and ueslesessness aside, good job to the club for flogging him for a profit.

We got him for free didn't we? If so, dare I say it, well done Kenyon!

Good luck to him though, never rated him, but it seems he likes the Bundesliga, so this is the best move for him.

Go get 'em.

He was only brought into ther club because the manager was being publically snubbed in the transfer market by the chairman, and had to go shopping for free.

He never had a fair chance and hardly any playing time for us, good luck to him at Werder Bremen

Anyone feel that Sheva may be next? Alsthought with his ties to Carlo I doubt it.

Anyway, Claudio, seemed like a nice guy and really seemed to flourish in Germany so it only makes sense for him to head back there

I don't think Sheva's ties with Carlo will mean anything - after all they didn't do him any favours in his year long loan back at Milan and Carlo has already made it pretty clear he is free to find a new club. The only think that will keep Sheva with us is if his agent fails to find him a suitable deal elsewhere.

Or if Sheva even wants to move. I'm sure he could "do a Bogarde" and just see out his contract here earning a pretty penny to sit on the bench

Sheva................hope you like 'em cold

;) you could always change to tapas, theres a fat lad in liverpool will deliver it to you. his club need all the money they can get.
