Loan move would be ideal for us and owen. Maybe he could rediscover his goal scoring form with us therefore helping himself secure a move to big club in the summer.

As weird as it may seem, losing our home record.. that mean't so much to me and i was really f**ked up when we lost it!

Owen at a cheap price would be a decent deal.. if we could bring someone like that with his experince and know how.... why not??? On the other hand...The deal would surely be short term and nothing else.. so would it make sense?? Owen is going downhill quick and at nearly 29 may not have that long left as a decent goal scoring striker.. A deal to teh end of the season maybe... I'm just not sure if he would want that..

Seems we can play half paced and still turn over teams.. still haven't hot top gear at all this season.. Malouda still annoys the hell outta me.. just dont like him at all.. Just imagine this team when all are fit and ready to go.....SCARY!!!!!!!!

I dont think mikel has being that good at all. there is no way essien would have made the mistakes mikel did in rome. i just dont think he brings anything fantastic or different to the team. you look at macca when he was in that role, he broke up plays feed the flair players and did one hell of a job, same with essien. although essien's speed and power is far better than what macca's Essien quality wise is a much better player and gives the midfield the driving force ot needs while aslo breaking and stopping attacking moves.. you just dont get that from mikel. i know he's young and raw, but i dont feel he's going anywhere... Some like mikel, some dont.

Out of the key players injured, who have we missed the most?? Essien, ballack and drog have been none starters so far, so which out of the key players have we missed the much. Gotta think essien has being a huge blow for us in the way we play in midfield. mikel's awareness and vision is something that has being found wanting. a fit essien gives this team and the midfield the kick start it needs. What do you guys think?? It's my first thread, so be nice. lol

Good job we have super frank playing his ass off or we would be in trouble. never have i seen us so depleted in the midfield area. at full strength there is no better midfiled in the world for me.. would be nice to have the chance to play them all... DAMN INJURIES!!!!!!!!! O how we love our frank!!!!!!!!

The ref shoulda used some brain power. chelsea is down 3-1 with no real hope of coming back and all deco does is take a free kick quick. have some common sense, ref. that was rubbing salt in to the wound from our view point.

I watched the man u v celtic game.. glad united got the point. the fully deserved it after beaten up celtic in the second half. Unlike a few of my pals, i always like to see the english teams do well, no matter how much i hate them when they play us. It's the english v europe.(shame they arsenal only have Theo keeping the english flag flying)

I was really shocked if i'm being honest. never in a million sundays would i have thought that roma would score 3 time against chelsea. A few of my friends were worried, but i just said in football these things happen. a couple of mistake and a wonder goal... and bang, you've got yourself a win. but this wasn't a HUGE suprise if you think about it. they did plays us tough at the bridge and looked sharp on the counter attack.. I just think we really, really missed ricky at the back in that game. I fully expect a classic chelsea performance on sunday against blackburn. this team is way too good to let a one off result effect them... I feel for blackburn on sunday...

I'd have to say joe on this ocaasion. not very often we see a joe cole performance like that. he just didn't do what were SO used to him doing. Mikel get's a mention for his ill timed passes and brain dead decisons. just not a fan at all of the kid. roll on essien's return.

I see this being a close game. roma played tough against us at the bridge. I think we will score and if we go up early and they need to chase the game then there will only be one outcome. 0-2 Chelsea. lamps and anelka.

Lampard is beyond a "key player" for us. His goals and all round play are without doubt up there with the very best in the world.

I just wish our injured players would come back. Hull is gonna be tough, but if we can't overcome them then we are in a little trouble until we get back to full strength. I hope Pool was just a little setback and we dont start going downhill.

I'm upset no doubt but, let's see liverpool plays us when we have essien, ballack, drog(if he's intrested)and joe back. As much as we played poor today, those players would have made a BIG difference.. guess losing the record would have being easier to take if we had being at full strength.

We need to up our game for sure. I know we have injuries but this team is still good without there injured stars. If they play like they did today, Hull could well win on wednesday.

I'm a huge Jose fan. kinda loved that whole "chelsea against the world" thing he had going on when he was here. I would want him back just because i miss his interviews and witty comments he always provided when he was here.. Back to back champions, Fa cup winners, league cup winners and CL Semi's ain't bad at all. No matter what he does with his coaching life, he will always be remember for his time at chlsea in more ways than one. True Legend.
