Clarkson gone/sacked/not being renewed!
I wouldn't be making any promises, right or wrong some of the things he says crack me up, people get offended so easily nowadays (imo) and you wouldn't need to be any particular weight, size, sex, race or religion to find something to get upset about if you wanted to with the things he comes out with, if you didn't want to though and if his humour appealed to you, if you also had an interest in the subject matter then the program might be of interest. To be honest I think Clarkson, Dinosaur that he may be in todays pc friendly world, makes the show.

Clarkson gone/sacked/not being renewed!
I'm in a minority here by the looks of it but I like Clarkson, like his humour and his couldn't give a sh*t about pc attitude, love the program and think the three presenters bounce off each other really well. I doubt he even means half the things he says that a lot of people upset themselves about and to be honest if someone gave me and a couple of my mates that are petrol heads a budget and a camera team, I'd like to imagine the end result would come out something along the lines Top gear has done. I hope he gets another Motor related show and carries on in his "dilligaf" style.

Cuadrado - Chelsea's #23
While reading through here waching the game trying to defend Oscar who wasn't playing as badly as was being said I was hoping Jose wasn't going to bring Cuadrado on for Oscar, I think he'll need a good preseason to get used to being here, he looks so nervous and his touch has been pretty bad, not sure if he'll make it but I do think in hindsight for the end of this season we'd have been much better off with Shuurle. Not the perfect fit for the Jose team maybe but always capable of worrying the opposition which as well as his threat, openened things up for the others. When Oscar and Willian are not at their best we are so reliant on Hazard and Costa that defending against us looks pretty simple. Still if Jose has seen something in the boy to spend twenty odd million on, maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised, I just think keeping Shuurle would have been safer for our aspirations this season, maybe have even made the difference against PSG.

Credit to the opposition, not at our best but they made it very difficult, another point ahead of City and alls not as bad as it seems.

Lovely cross from Willian and attempt from Oscar, offering a bit more than nothing and unlucky not to put us ahead.

We certainly look a bit more interested this half, Jose has had some effect.

Chelsea vs Southampton (PL) 15/03/2015 KO: 13:30 GMT
Decent decision to take Matic off, on a yellow and not having his best game, Ramires needs to start stepping up and has been getting game time so is due a bit of form.

Chelsea vs Southampton (PL) 15/03/2015 KO: 13:30 GMT
Notr sure about the comments saying we're lucky to be going in level, their penalty was a 50/50 and we should have had one ourselves. Give them some credit for the way they've played their own game on our turf and played it well, our boys didn't need that after the last game and hopefully will give it a better shot second half.

Chelsea vs Southampton (PL) 15/03/2015 KO: 13:30 GMT
Southampton have been very good and are really up for this, Jose has a job to do in the break, a tough game to play off the back of the PSG game and the minds of some of our players doesn't seem right. Jose, earn your crust mate as I'm about to give some more money to William Hills 3-1.

Looked 50/50 to me but we'll take it as they got all the decisions in France.

Oscar - Little Diamond
Nothing bad to say about the boy and I'd hate for him to leave, whoever replaced him as our number ten couldn't do the job Jose asks of Oscar and look any better, at his age he will only improve and his supposedly poor form seems to correspond with some of our less than outstanding performances. I think we are far better with him in the team and with Matic on the pitch I prefer Cesc further back so it's not as if Oscar is playing where we have a better option.

Chelsea to sign £40m-a-year Yokohama Rubber shirt sponsorship deal
Good deal, I'm pumped. Had loads of Cars with Yokahama's, very good tyre even had them on my X5. Should help us cope with pressure,

MOTM vs Burnley (H) (PL)
Hazard by some distance, thought Luis was very good, Oscar isn't anywhere near his best but I still feel we are a better team with him in it. Fabregas is certainly not playing like he was hopefully nothing more than form and fitness levels but a worry being as he has a reputation of ending seasons poorly. Cuadrado we have to give some time but up to now I must admit to feeling happier with Willian in the starting line up. Likely wouldn't be having these doubts if it wasn't for the refereeing today so maybe it's better than we fear.

Chelsea v Burnley (PL) 21/02/2015 KO 15:00 GMT
I'm here to do two things I very rarely do on these forums, one I'm here to have a rant and two I'm going to commit plagiarism... I feel Jose is right with much of what he has been saying about a media campaign against Chelsea and the standard of officiating being iffy, especially on the big calls. Today there was a man on the pitch wearing a Burnley kit who was intentionally, for the whole 90 minutes of the game, trying "do" opposition players at every given opportunity. In the first half he should have seen red for intentionally jumping in on Ivanovich with his knee into his leg when the ball was in the air, and then he did virtually the same thing around 10 minutes later on Zouma (knee into side), which left the kid writhing on the ground. Both Ivan and Zouma made it clear to Atkinson what Barnes had done but Atkinson was either so myopic he didn't see it, or he choose to complete ignore it, or, welll you make a guess? His poor reefering, his poor officiating was / is directly responsible for the Matic sending off. If he had taken the correct action in the first half Barnes isn't on the pitch the leg-breaker challenge on Matic doesn't happen and the reaction doesn't happen. Then there are the penalties. Yes. Again. The penalties. For football to be seen as above suspicion there really has to come a point where officials are made to answer, publically, for the decisions they make. That time has come IMO because some of the non-penalty decisions against us this season are scandalous and they are occuring with such regularity now it is beginning to smell very badly indeed. Is it a reaction against Jose'scomments? It is perhaps indicative of the increasingly poor standards of EPL match officials? Is it driven by public sentiment? SKY TV? Who knows. Who cares. The fact is, time and again, we are not getting these calls. And I'm not talking the 50/50, 60/40, 70/30 calls here, I'm talking of many stone cold, 100%, nailed on penno calls. In short, we are being cheated. But will Atkinson be held to account? Will Barnes' thuggery be probed and dissected the way Costa's were so publically and vocally by SKY and the media? Don't hold your breath my friends. But will Jose be fined if he voices his true opinion on what occured today? You betcha. I do not trust myself to watch MOTD tonight because if there is even mention of Matic's reaction to that challenge as being worthy of a red card I shall surely put my foot through my lovely Samsung 46", LED, Smart TV. PS: Tottenham next week was always going to be extremely tough, without Matic the toughness factor just went up to 11. Thanks to Just (spot on mate)

Is There a Media Campaign Against Chelsea?
My take on the agenda that is isn't against us is that in my opinion there is an agenda but mainly from the media, I don't really think it is an agenda against Chelsea per se, more an agenda that would be against any team running away at the top of the league that could possibly have a few viewers not bother to tune in as they think it's already done and dusted. Even supporters of clubs not involved in the title race have an interest and usually that interest is in the battle and the excitement of it going to the wire, I think the Media think more people will watch and more papers will sell if it's tight all the way. Adding to that Jose is the nearest thing they have to an A list celebrity in management and winding him up will always help with the ratings. I expect Jose will have the last laugh but it does certainly seem like more notice is taken of anything our players do so I fully understand the conspiracy theories.

Didier Drogba Returns!
Again we have different views Nibs, I can understand yours fully but I still feel he's been on the whole well worth having up to now and has in some games looked a better option than Remy, to be fair he looked more of a handfull for the Newcastle defenders than Costa did on the day. Adding to that his undoubted influence on the group and I don't see it as a bad idea, he'll likely have some influence on proceedings between now and the seasons end as well, he's a totally different option to Remy and sometimes that's what we need. I think his age is being looked at a bit too much, he's always had the odd game that went by without him and maybe that will happen a bit more at his ripe old age but his physical condition is better than most of the players in the premiership era who have gone on to make big contributions a few years past their best. Regardless how good we both think he is now, surely you're not in the camp that believes anything he does now is somehow tarnishing what he's done here?

I think you're giving most of us on here too much credit , Welcome to the forum though.

Didier Drogba Returns!
Thing is though Nibs it's never been truer...Jose wouldn't be playing him if he thought it was detrimental to our chances of winning and although I've used those exact words many times surely with the said manager being Mourinho people must have enough faith to give him the benefit of the doubt that he knows a bit about the game.
