  1. Yeah I've got it now, Paul set up Mickey Thomas for the other and King Kerry got one, Kerry set up Canovilles second. Rocky went in the post today mate
  2. weird one that, when you think with all the Tapping up in football Glen decides to nick some Taps, then gets a Tap on the shoulder
  3. 1984/85 League Cup 5th.Round - 30 January 1985. It was Paul Canoville who came off the bench in that game, Loz - and he certainly did change the game, scoring two goals and scaring the crap out of the Wednesday defence. Dale Jasper played the whole game. As the song goes - "3-0 down, 4-3 up, then Doug Rougvie f*cked it up" I also thought it was unfair that Dale Jasper was singled out for the blame in the Sunderland game - the ref was dodgy to say the least. Jasper wasn't the best player around, but he was far from the worst. I remember the game but I was sure Paul Canoville scored a hat trick that day?
  4. Its true there are 11 players in a team and we have won back to back titles with them but to be honest I think had Sheva been here when we won them..i.e when we had Joey, Duffer and Robben in the team with Frank in a more attacking role then he would have looked a different player. we diddn't win back to back titles playing as we have this season. Passing some diagonal balls to Sheva or Drogba from midfield or laying some crosses into decent positions should not Hurt the Drogs or the team and if doing it constitutes too much of a change I'd say do it anyway.
  5. I think our invincible mentality has suffered a bit and that being the case, if you score first we could be in trouble, depending on the goalkeeper (if Cech is back will he be anything like he was in his first game back) and how the defense copes without JT, will Crouch play for the ariel threat and if he does will our right back (I'm sure our left back will) cut out the crosses at root. if we dont make mistakes defensively I have no doubt the points will be ours and if Robben is in the mood I feel Sheva might just start to shine in this one. my prediction..1-3 Drogba-Sheva-Lampard
  6. Sheva has conducted himself with class and dignity as usual, he trys hard on the pitch and has not even come out and complained about the system not suiting him (as far as I know) which he could well do as an excuse. he knows he is not doing it and believes he will get his form back and I for one dont doubt him. He in my opinion was a signing urged by Roman and maybe Roman has also urged Jose to keep playing him, Remember when he played every game though and Jose said He has scored, now I can drop him? that seems like its always been Jose's decision and a lot of this is just more Press Bull. The transfer saga now is the worry, why have we not strengthened the squad when we badly need two players? is it just the right players are not availlable? If we dont buy/loan anybody and we still win the title Surely Jose will be offered anything he wants for next season as it will be some managerial feat to galvanise the team into a mentally strong winning unit like they have been and with a very thin squad it would be Jose's biggest achievemnt yet.

we play Saturday and Arse play Man U on Sunday, If we win that will give Fergies lot a restless night which could help the Wengerboys

Normally I wouldn't give a toss about the result of that one but let me just say if Arsenal gain 3 points on Liverpool this coming weekend, I will be quite satisfied
  9. oh mate remember on Monkey Island the insults you had to do in a fight, brilliant old game
  10. I too like the old Bee Gees stuff but cant stand the disco cack, dont like queen but diddn,t mind I'm in love with my car (back of Bohemian Rhapsody) I liked what Bluebeard mentioned (ever fallen in love with someone) do you know the lead singer had hits with un punk Ballads like Gee Baby and Love me love my Dog I remember Silver machine and Mitcham Fair just past the redhouse on the right, next door to my mates Car Front I like the Boys to men End of the line but cant stand the group. cant stand the scissor sisters awith that dance crap but the new single plays on my mind..help me
  11. I still maintain that if we played a game more suited to shevas style he would do the business, flobs comments are that of a player trying to make a name for himself in a team that are blowing hot and cold and no longer favourites to win the big prizes, who cares what the mug has to say...if indeed he even said it
  12. GK: Bosnich D: Pannuci D: Bogarde D: Del Horno M: Veron M: D Lucas M: Maniche M: Laudrup A: Sutton A: Casaraghi A. Fleck Subs: Mutu/ Kezman/Petit...never looked his best with us Mutus in because he wasted what was a good chance for a player of undoubted talent, Shevas out as is Ballack because I believe they will come good. Casaraghi deserves better but it was a huge dissapointment when he got that terrible injury just as he was sharpening up.
  13. No way is he anywhere near as good as Chappie but I think given a decent run in the team he would earn back even the respect of Bluebeard, as he said when he came he looked pretty good and to be honest I think its down to Jose's fannying about more than Paulo being more of a fanny Ferreira best RB in our squad by a country
  14. Yeah welcome newbies, be prepared to waste hours of your life on here now...your addicted keep it blue
  15. Drogba....thats what we were waiting for
  16. Its been our biggest win over Wigan since they got in the Prem, lets hope we go on a proper run from here
  17. Kalou for Mikel ...Thought so Robben for Sahar
  18. I notice that and prefer him getting a last twenty in place of sheva, Thats why I thought Jose might sub him anytime soon
  19. oh ta, maybe wright phillips then, or hopefully he might leave it as is for a change
  20. It wouldn't surprise me to see Jose make a change in a minute..Probobly Mikel for Kalou although I dont know who's on the bench
  21. sounds like they've put it down to an own goal by chris kirkland
  22. Kirkland good save from Robben, and he's got it back from Bridge to net his second
  23. To be honest we should be further ahead as Wigan sound like they are pretty bad. still nice to get the points and would be nice to keep a clean sheet. Drogs miaght get on the scoresheet if they attack and we pick them off
  24. Heskey wins a dubious corner and its headed away by the Drogs. Robben scores from a mistake of a backpass
