Joey vows to return this season:
Glad he's thinking about his game, hope he makes the latter stages of the CL as we could do with some flair in those games.

Mate you lot are having your best seaon for years, youv'e got every right to enjoy it but why do you have to keep embarassing yourself? your last two games have been against teams with a makeshift CB pairing, 1 with a huge dip in form due to a lot of important players being out and some behind the scenes problems, the other looking certs for relegation. Ok you still have to win these games and that you did but go on the thread Premeirship Predictor and have a go at the results, this will show you how in your opinion the season will end, do it honestly and un biasly if you can. now add 6 points to what you ended Liverpool on and you might be in third place, First? then you didn't really do it un biasly did you? I expect Arsenal to finish above you as they are at this time by far the better team but if they dont I think third for you is a good finish, Basque in the glory as it will be some more History for you when you dont reach those dizzy heights for another ten years

Premiership, how it could go
Chelsea ended on mine on a point less than on yours so you know I never had us winning a silly amount, we drew with UTD we beat Arsenal we drew with newcastle away and Tottenham home cant remember more cos it wouldn't save have another go but be realistic with Man Utd, they are gonna draw a few in fact think I had them down for a loss at liverpool and a draw at spurs Blackburn man city and Everton, thinking like that there are chances though dont you think?

Premiership, how it could go
Leaving Dorset to charge to the top of the 'Sign Tevez' mountain and stick the Chelsea flag in so deeply it would take Bruce Willis and a charge of Hollywood C list actors to extricate it. No he'll be staying and linking up with Eidur next season Have a go at the predictor Loz Mad_Mac I recon all the top teams will drop more than you think mate, hope so anyway, we must have been close on the chelsea results though, what was your goals for like?

Chelsea v Forest
Nice Professional gameplan well worked by the lads, heres my ratings Cech, nothing to do but he,s back in his hat 10 for being there and giving the defense confidence again. Geremi again got forward well, again final ball a bit lacking 6.0 Carvallho good game, and got forward too 7.5 bridge showed why he should be 1st choice LB 7.5 Essien worth two players, 8.5 Lampard, looked good worked hard, 7.5 Sweep, starting to look like a Chelsea player 6.5 Mikel looks better and better 7.5 Diarra glad he played and hope he gets more games 7.5 Drogs strong and hard working as usual 7.0 Sheva still could be quicker but on the up 7.0 Kalou holds the ball too long sometimes but great feet 6.0 Morais and Woods no time to do much but great to see the youngen's out there positives....players played for each other and showed some spirit, Sheva Mikel Diarra Sweepy all looking on the up Essien Lamps Carv Drogs Bridge, all played to the standard we got used to, Negatives, Jose looking like he laughed when Sheva went down? BBC1 commentating, so sh*te and another plus I bet 3-0 Sheva first scorer for a quid at 18/1 and a fiver on the 3-0 at 11/2

Chelsea v Forest

Chelsea v Forest
....................Cech.................. Geremi...Rikky...Essien....Cole ................Diarra.................... ........Ballack........Lampard......... .................Mikel.................... ..........Sheva.....Drogba.......... I think maybe JT will get the last half hour so Ess can move into RB if Paulo's not getting forward and we neeed to score, bit of a waste of his talents but when needs must, Think Diarra deserves games and we shouldn't need Maka against the Mighty Forest Bench JT,Makelele , Kalou, SWP, Saher, Hedman.

Favourite World Cup performer ever?
BLUEBEARD WROTE I remember collecting those coins too, and insisting that my dad got his petrol only at Esso garages I also seem to remember Typhoo tea packs having a football theme - each pack would have a picture and info of a different player. So, my mum was obviously under strict instructions to buy only Typhoo Tea And yes, Labone played for Everton. They won the league that year and beat us in the Charity Shield at the Bridge in August - sadly, I was there to witness it. Still annoys me to think of that stunted little ginger tw*t Alan Ball running around in his white boots and squeaking at the ref. And their chubby git of a keeper, Gordon West - the only player to get a song sung about him just because his name rhymed with Best! For those who don't know, it was a charming little ditty that was sung in the Shed to the tune of "Excerpt From A Teenage Opera", better known as "Grocer Jack": - Gordon West, Gordon West Biggest c*nt since Georgie Best Get on your bike And f*ck off home "Sigh", they don't write 'em like that anymore 8) 1970 - a good year for football - Chelsea won the cup for the first time ever, followed a couple of months later by the best World Cup ever! And the next season we went on to win the Cup Winners Cup! I remember Alan Ball strutting about and the chubby west, never heard the song though, The 70s was a great era when you look back and sometimes I think my specs are rose tinted as they were the best years of my life but with the football I think its not rose tinted.

And Labone I forgot about him...did he play for Everton the twat? Happy Days 8)

Favourite World Cup performer ever?
I was just thinking about football from years gone by and how as a kid I enjoyed the World Cup so much, that got me to thinking of Players I used to pretend to be when kicking around as kids do and wondered who your favourite World Cup performers would be? bet we get a few differant ones but I shall start of with mine. I would go for Jairzinho, older posters will remember him as one of the most exciting players in the 1970 World Cup, He scored in every game for Brazil 7 Goals and still was beaten for the golden Boot by Germany's Gerd Muller who got ten, Jairzinho was dazzling to watch and probobly the only player who excited me to watch as much as Georgie Best Or Charlie Cooke, not forgetting I am a Chelsea fan and any bias even when I was so young just went out the window when I watched players of this class, the man was pure magic. He played his last game in 1982 so I dont expect many of the younger ones on here to remember him but if you ever get a chance to see any footage, have a look. another thing people may know him for is he was the one who spotted Ronaldo (the chubby one) when he was 14.

CFC The Most Unbalanced Squad In The EP ?
Sorry BJD It's just so frustrating watching him play knowing that he's capable of playing so much better (or at least he was). As for Cole, I just get so pissed off when he's selected ahead of Bridge all the time Oh, and coco, if you've got something to say, say it - don't just post sarcastic emoticons - we can all do that........... .....see, it's easy so right about the AC Bridge dilemma, look at AC again against wycombe, a poxy 4th division player was skinning him I thought he was winning me over when he had a great game against Man Utd but he has gone backwards since. I think Paulo is more a confidence thing and the more he plays out of position or not at all the worse it will get, maybe a few games in the reserves at RB see if that sharpens him up. Dont know about our other options though.....Gerami, ok against sides with not much threat as hes fair going forward (could practice crossing though) Essien, ok but a waste of his abilities, Boula (when fit) looked good against Barca at the Bridge but since Keane put him on his arse he was never quite so solid, Diarra, not a real test against wycombe although I like to see him play, better off learning Makas role though.

T*ttenspam v Le @rse
The Media will slaughter us if we win the CL and the Prem I dont really care anymore and although Wenger probobly will send out the youngsters (although a lot of them are 1st team players -Hleb,Fabregas,Toure,Eboue, etc) It will still bother the fans to be beaten and they will be cursing us getting another trophy, I watched the match tonight with a good mate who is a gooner and the smugness was there for all to see. Media or not I would like to rub their noses in it
-
T*ttenspam v Le @rse
I watched the game with a mate of mine (gooner) and must say it was quite entertaining (not least cos I had a fiver on 2-2) Tottenham started really strong and to be honest if they had not have lost Berbatov and Brought on Keane Changing the system in the process I think they could have won it by a margin, That said Arsenal did show a lot of bottle and got back in well, should be a good final although Arsenal are not there yet it would make a good game, a good game to show everyone we are back and mean to win everything possible. Walcott was pretty anonymous most of the game and oddly although I rate him Toure in the first half looked crap. I thought Lennon and Malbronque played well for the Spuds.
