  1. Right now I'm in the UAE for work so I'm streaming.
  2. I think I'm on a minor delay from you two (Ozz and Brandinho).
  3. Smart play by Badstuber there.
  4. We need to cash in on these... Wow.
  5. Klose! Shame he couldn't connect.
  6. Özil should have finished that! Brilliant play leading up to it.
  7. Greece is sitting back allowing the Germans to have possession and hope to break on the counter.
  8. We're lively the first 15 minutes. I like it so far.
  9. No doubt. It takes a special player to be able to handle the space between Bastian and the German back line.
  10. Yes, we need Sami in the lineup. f**k...
  11. I agree with you. Müller has been ok but Podolski has been pretty non-existant. Yes, I understand he got us a goal but besides that his time out on the LW has been pretty quiet. It's like I said before, I think Lahm has been more of an attacking threat on that left side than Lukas. I think we'll see a lot more pace tonight, which isn't a bad thing. My biggest concern is whether or not changing three of our four up front is going to have an effect on our finishing. Götze is brilliant but he's best operating as a 10 behind the striker. The issue for him is getting time from Özil who has been nothing short of outstanding this tournament so far. I know Jogi will want to keep Özil relatively fresh so I do expect to see a sub tonight. It all depends on the scoreline. I'm not trying to underestimate Greece but I just don't fear their attack. They do play these matches for a reason though...
  12. I do like the changes. This gives us the speed on the wings to counter the counter (heh) and having Klose up front gives us the front man that has been the guy to carry us through the competitions in the past. Gomez has been brilliant but our "rock" should get us through and that is Klose. I wish Reus would have gotten some time before tonight though. I will say however, Greece is resilient and three changes to our attack could backfire. Schweinsteiger has well enough experience to "drive" the vehicle regardless and Mesut will still be able to create chances. With this lineup, we are faster on the wings than we have been. Our DM's and back line are unchanged so I don't really fear Greece's attack. If they do break through on the counter and our sync is disrupted in the final third due to these changes then we could be in trouble. Jogi has been nothing short of perfect so far for his selections. I trust the instincts for this match. I do expect to see Mario at some point tonight. My guess is around the seventieth minute or so. I'm excited and nervous. Playing as we have we've been good enough but it is time to step it up. If we want the cup, we need to show it. That starts tonight.
  13. Definitely a legend after what he's done for us. I wish him nothing but the best. Good luck Didier and rip it up in China!
  14. Beautiful pictures, thanks for posting them! I'm very glad that you were treated well. There's something to be said for clubs doing the right thing on and off the pitch. The organisation is a class act even though the journalists would have you believe differently most times.
  15. I didn't get to watch either game, but congrats to England for taking the group. How do you feel that you'll do against Italy? I see that being a very tight match. I wouldn't know who to pick. France gets Spain... Yeah, I foresee the French going home when the final whistle blows for that one. Why Sweden couldn't step it up against the Ukraine is beyond me. They should have gone through. Sad for you Sweden fans. Bring on the quarters!
  16. What was the final amount we offered for him last summer? £40 million? I swear it's just another reason (as if I needed another one) to despise the Spuds if Modric is allowed to go for anything less than what we offered last season. At least, for me, it's somewhat comforting if RM come in with some ridiculously high number and get him that way. I get players' values change from season to season, but if anything it's arguable that he's even better than last year at this time.
  17. Would immensely enjoy that as well.
  18. I'm hoping that w**kfest ends by the Germans. We owe them for the 2008 Euro and 2010 WC.
  19. And here I was wondering how they got a lot of their "information".
  20. CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!!!! No sir, it never gets old.
  21. Where did you see that rumour? That would be one heck of an addition for RM...
  22. Murdered is being a little nice about it, isn't it?
  23. Same here. It's definitely worth it imho.
  24. Germany clearly took the foot off the gas during the second half of the Denmark game. I think they were content with the draw but Löw played a dangerous game and that could have backfired. We had very little crosses or through balls. I thought Bendtner had a real argument for a pen during his run in the 75th-76th minute. The ref was letting them play though. Germany should put Greece away and make it to the semi-finals.
