  1. Portugal. Germany beats Italy. Germany beats Portugal.
  2. I can't get over that he could possibly be going to RM for less than we bid on him last year. His quality or value certainly hasn't gone down in the last year. Am I the only one that can't get over this? Makes me despise Levy even more...
  3. Loving having Ash on the squad. He's been nothing short of outstanding for us during his time here. And let it continue for the next coming years. Cheers Gem, brilliant thread!
  4. They can have AVB. Just give us Modric in return. Everyone wins!
  5. Why go to RM when you can play for the... CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!!! Yes, I just had to go there. Ivan, legend in the making. Keep it up sir, keep it up!
  6. Same here The Brit. The media seem to forget that we outscored Barca 3-2 on aggregate and tied that game 2-2 after being down to 10 men! Their beautiful football didn't do the job. So what if Barca has 2938472394872398 passes. Winning the possession battle doesn't win the match. Last I remember it's all about winning. We did it using a defensive strategy, so what? And if that's how England was going to go about their path through the knockout phase, again so what? Defense and offense are both parts of this game that we love. Chelsea won by playing as a team, using good strong defensive tactics, and hitting the opponents on the counter. England's strength was their back line, so that's what they went with. I don't see anything wrong with any of these tactics. That's the media just latching on to something that they think they can pitch as being negative about Chelsea and England. Shame it has to be like that.
  7. I'm sad for those of you that were rooting for England, I'm sorry to see them go out. However, looking at this from the Chelsea point of view, I'm glad to see JT, Ash, and others get a rest. After the long season we had, they need it especially with the trip to the US coming up.
  8. I vote we move this thread to the jokes section.
  9. FIFA 13 for me. And no idea about release dates or demo dates.
  10. Isn't it funny how it works? Years ago, Germany was the boring, grinding, defending, relying on that 1-0 type team. Certainly not anymore.
  11. That's our Rambo. Top player and full of class.
  12. What is Bosque so scared of? The French are no pushovers but Spain certainly have the quality to see them through. Maybe he's just losing it...
  13. Most if not all of those have been eased simply due to time. Time heals all wounds, yes? However, for me it doesn't make it better at all. I still look at those games with as much anger or sadness as I would if it had been today and we didn't become Kings of Europe. Why? Nothing has changed. JT's slip in Moscow when he hit the post is still gut wrenching. Orvebo's refereeing (a term I'm using very loosely) is still one of the worst I've ever seen. The list goes on and on. Now let's add the media and how they continuously are on us for one thing or another. Our victory in Munich wasn't glorious it was a robbery, blah, blah, blah. No, the win doesn't give me any more ease, only time has. But to be fair, I'm normally a feisty individual anyway.
  14. If only we could have grabbed Reus and Özil. I know neither necessarily wanted to come here but still...
  15. Hitsu, just wanted to give you a congrats for making the quarters mate. I know this game isn't over time wise, but I don't see a Greek comeback at this point.
  16. "It's becoming Rolls Reus." I'm not sure if I should laugh or flame.
  17. Until that point, it's the only thing Khedira hasn't done. He's been brilliant all match.
  18. Clinical German first half with passing and possession. We've missed some chances but thanks to the Greeks not being tight for just a second, Lahm was able to put one in. I expect Jogi to give the lads a bit of a push to get another goal and quick. I heard the term "one way traffic" and I have to agree. It's been basically Germany attacking most of the half.
  19. Nah, no worries. If my stream dies I'll have to rely on those.
