Agreed that Norton is dogsh*t. I would remove that quickly. Not only does it do a below average job of virus detection/removal, but it's also a resource hog. Microsoft Security Essentials and Comodo Internet Security are both free and both are decent. I like the Comodo firewall that comes with Comodo IS and actually run both on my son's computer just to have extra protection. He also has Spybot S&D and I use Malware Bytes (the free version) as a backup. Get one of those AV/IS suites and Spybot S&D or Malware Bytes and you'll be good to go for the future.
  2. Amp, all batteries have charge cycles and a maximum charge capacity which unfortunately does dwindle over time. A lot of the newer laptops have a charge/discharge capability which means that while being plugged in the battery will discharge and recharge by approximately 1% to keep the battery "fresh" and as close as possible to their max charge capacity. Most of the lithium ion battery do not need to be discharged down to 0% and back to 100% since they don't have the "memory" issues like the nickel cadmium ones had. However, the battery life will shorten over time just because the maximum charge capacity decreases over time. So basically keeping your laptop plugged in constantly shouldn't effect the battery life any more so than if you don't, but if you have a lithium ion battery but the battery life will still decrease over time. Some decrease faster than others. The same holds true for smartphones, etc. Hope this helps.
  3. Clearly this was not the result we were looking for. However, with all of the build up to the match, to expect a rout was too high of an expectation as well imho. QPR was going to be up for it and they were. The concerning part for me, was how poor some of the individual players looked. Granted not everyone is going to have a stellar match all of the time but this does raise some flags that I'm sure RDM has seen and will correct. The ref was complete sh*t. There's no other way to put it. We had at least one stonewall penalty not given and most likely should have a second. As far as subs go, think he made some good subs once again. Torres was having a howler of a match and Danny brought some energy as soon as he came on. Unfortunately, I would have liked to see him on 15 min or so earlier. Moses is going to do well for us I believe, I thought he looked pretty good once getting on the pitch as well. This isn't the end of the world. We knew that QPR would be up for this match after all of the pre-match hype we saw. To get out with no red cards and a draw is a small win. If RDM can get the lads past this, we'll move onwards and upwards. I'm sure he will, and I'm sure we will. Bring on Juventus.
  4. COYB!! And Ferdinand is a bitch. What a pansy.
  5. Vanilla had no main antagonist to it. It was really the start of the fight against the Black Dragonflight then Blizz changed gears with AQ and finally Naxx. Granted I get it was the introduction to the "world" but it still didn't have a main antagonist like the other expansion packs. That's what I don't like about this xpac. Let's introduce the pandas and bam... Nothing else. Ok, so we're going to renew the fight between horde and alliance and supposedly Garrosh is the final boss for this xpac but it still feels it lacks in something. At least Vanilla had the Black Dragonflight. Here Blizz started the raids off with some of the panda temples for what, proving yourself (lore wise here)? Smells of mediocore to me.
  6. Can't argue about the bears Ace. It's a f**king wonder who the hell came up with that. Add to the fact that they can be both factions and it just spells of disaster.
  7. I still play a MMO just because it gives me an opportunity to play with friends that I've known for years. However, I don't dedicate near the time that I would in order to be "1337" or anything like that. I do occasional PvP and I find that doesn't take up too much more time than playing some other RPG or standard 1st person shooter. However, I do realise there was a ton of time spent to get to that point. So while I'm still active, I only play very little because I refuse to let it consume me.
  8. Lots of different eras to choose from. It's hard to choose a "greatest" or "best" because, unlike what others that aren't fans would believe, there is a TON of history at this club. If I had to choose one, it would be Peter Osgood. A true legend and a man that will always have his name linked with Chelsea Football Club.
  9. So immature, and the lot of you, just shameless bumping a thread for what? Seriously, let this thread go. See what I did there?
  10. That's about all that can be said. Just one of those matches I guess.
  11. Osgood for me. BB said it best and it could very well be a glaring need depending on how Torres does and/or if he gets injured.
  12. You must get a lot more vacation time than I do mate.
  13. What?!?!? What are they doing?? Ugh. And with you on HL3, that would be worth bagging a day or two off work to play.

I think he'll make Christmas. I believe he'll make shortly after the window. What is going to help AVB is that Arsenal, Newcastle, and Liverpool do not look as strong as last year (so far it's really early I understand). However, if the players stop believing in him, he could be out very quickly indeed.
  15. InsideLaLiga is reporting on twitter that C. Ronaldo has handed in a transfer request to Real Madrid. Can't believe it, but there are some reports that he's not "happy" for some reason...
  16. Good save by the Southampton keeper. RVP tried to get cute and he did his job.
  17. When does the next Bioshock release? I know it was delayed, but not sure to when.
  18. Norwich have played well, if this ends in a draw they will have truly deserved the point. The point could be made that they played well enough to get all three. There are still 4 min of stoppage to see it out.
  19. Haven't heard anything. After the way he played against Tottenham, I'm really surprised he didn't get a start. He must have some slight injury or illness.
  20. Hello and welcome!
  21. Friedel just saved Tottenham from going down. That was a great reactionary save.
  22. Have to agree, I enjoyed L4D2.
