I believe AVB should be saying nothing about Roman whether it's true or not (I'm talking about his quotes early in that article). I'm sure Roman, when approving this project, didn't approve the locker room unrest and the mediocre results. With the amount of talent we have, there should have been no way that we were struggling to make a CL spot even during the "project". However, AVB does have the chance to succeed at the Spuds. If he can deliver them CL football and keep the locker room intact, that's more of a success than what he did here. Now for the real question... How many of you are with me in the hope that RDM can hammer AVB and Spuds twice (or more) this season? As if we didn't have enough of a reason to want to throttle them, AVB has just added fuel to the inferno.

I'm waiting for it as well. I agree with Rahul, I hope the movie lives up to the hype.

Argentina is the one that shocks me the most along with Brazil. Can't argue with 1 and 2 though, completely agree with that but it's not really hard to pick those two tbh.

Alan, to be fair I'm not sure many of us wanted RA to pay £50 million for Torres even before we knew how it would pan out. He did, and Torres is ours. Nothing that can be done about that now. However, after opening his mouth, whether or not the words were taken out of context, he best produce this year or I'll believe he'll be out. There's no one else to compete with him. He's on much better form than he was. It's time for him to get some rest and start scoring for us this coming season. He'll get service, and I'm sure RDM will make it so he can succeed. The rest is up to Nando.

Italy had their best game against Germany and have nothing left. At least that's my story to this point. They have 45 min to prove me wrong.

Spain, who I can't stand the w**kfest over them on the other side. I have a feeling Spain is going to win and we're going to hear about it for the next 3892479385 years... Ugh. For how dull the Spain/Portugal match was, I expect differently for the Germany vs Italy match. The Germans haven't beaten the Italians in a competition since what, 1955? Expect some fireworks. Germany wins 2-1 in a closer battle than most think.
