  1. Thinking on it, if you do that, you could buy a normal hard drive and put it in your wife's PC... it might save you a couple of quid and would be faster than the USB 2.0 would, but would mean opening up her computer... not sure how confident you are with that sort of thing, but it's a thought.
  2. Ah fair enough. Then I'd say go for it. What you could do if you wanted to show off, is connect the external drive to your wife's PC and set it up as a shared drive, over the network. That way you don't have to keep it connected to the laptop, and as long as your laptop is connected to the network you'll have access to it. You could map it as a drive too.... just a thought.
  3. That's a good deal, there, but do you really need a TB? Considering it's a 28GB hard drive that's a bit of a jump in size. You'd comfortably get away with a 200GB one. It would work fine btw. No real expertise needed at all.
  4. Exactly, although, I reckon they'd ask why it took us so long.
  5. I may have work in a couple of short hours, but f**k it, I'm enjoying this too much. Third bottle of champagne of the night... well cava, but I'm poor so it's good enough. I'm possibly going to ring in sick.... well... drunk, I'll be honest with them.
  6. Ah, nice, where did Liverpool finish, it was their year, right?
  7. I heard there was a football match today, did something happen?
  8. Im on the replacement bus on my phone and its running out of battery. So soon ill have nothing to do... ill have to hunt out some chelsea fans
  9. Some of them will be ready, some won't. I'd say we only need two signings though, a striker, or right winger depending on whether it's 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 next year, and a creative midfielder. The rest we can sort of cover with youngsters coming through. I may have to pull out one of my epic posts, but the way I see it, that is ample. Stoch, Jack Cork, Bruma, and possibly Mancienne look ready, to at least be back ups, and play a part this season. With the likes of Kakuta, who I'd like to see more of, Hutchinson, Van Aanholt, Ryan Bertrand, Borini... I'm not sure how we'd need too many players.
  10. Imagine if Plokoon was fat. :) I'll have longish hair, be drinking the cheapest, sh*ttest, lager, and probably be wearing a greyish jumper/hoody type thing and leather gloves (they're lucky). I'll also probably be on my phone checking this site every few minutes. :( How will I spot any of you lot? I'm hoping I will so I don't have to spend the day on my lonesome. Aye, Wicksy, I wasn't able to get one, but thought I'd come down for the atmosphere. Cheers though.
  11. I'm a big fan of Ivan too, and it's not certain that Bosingwa would get his place back, but having the chance to change the game by bringing on a right back, not many sides can do that. I'd say it'd take more like £20m to get him, especially considering we paid £18m was it?
  12. I think that even if a big offer does come in, we'd be tempted to keep him, or at the very least would replace him with someone like Maicon... Ivan is the type of guy who would be willing to stay and fight for his place, and if either Alex or JT get injured he'll be first in line to step in there, as Carvalho looks to be either leaving, or at least dropping down the pecking order. Bosingwa won't be in form and fit all season. Strength in depth is always good.
  13. I'm looking for one to show the game, and I'm not fussy with my beer... I'm 20, if it gets me drunk, it's good enough. I may head to the So Bar though, just because it's been mentioned so many times.
  14. I've got a f**king replacement bus service... Also no one has helped me pick a pub to watch the match in... so while this thread is being hijacked... Pick me one? I'm going down to the Fulham area as up here... well, I don't know a single Chelsea pub... so yeah, pick me a pub.
  15. I meant that you wouldn't be able to get here in time, through surface travel.
  16. I heard a rumour that Souness is going to be asked to come out of retirement to take over at Liverpool.
  17. indeed. I only put that in there, to generate a few responses. It worked, but I think you're a little far away, to get here in time.
  18. WARNING: THIS THREAD HAS BEEN HIJACKED So, I've now decided that I'm definitely heading to London... an impromptu, mini end of seaosn meet-up, anyone? If not, I won't be a Happy Meal. :P
  19. You may have convinced me to do the same. Should be a bit special. I won't be looking like a tourist though... I hate doing that, even when I am one.
  20. They're used to that from Gerrard, so tend to not be bothered by it.
  21. Now I can't speak for everyone when I say this, and I actually live outside London, and don't go to many games, but this is how I see and always have seen Fulham They're Ned Flanders. You can try to hate them, and I do, but they're too damn non-threatening. I'll mutter things under my breath, but they'll ignore it and carry on.
