  1. It's usually a blood test they go for though as you can detect a greater variety of drugs through it. Although I may be wrong and it could have been a urine test, but is that the only point you think applies to what you've said? Now take care to read the rest of it. That was just something extra I thought I'd put in. I tell you what, I'll quote it below for you to save you from scrolling up.
  2. :P That was hilarious. It was a hamster though, wasn't it? Don't forget the tube used to insert Lemmywinks. Also, I believe Paris Hilton went up there in another episode. :)
  3. Can you name a substance that would help with someone's technique? :P If something can make you run more in a sport where running is a major part, it surely has the possibility at least that it can improve your performance. Of course there's no evidence for it, there's no evidence that he didn't use it before training or matches either though... other than the fact that cocaine washes out of your system within 24 hours and testing usually done after matches... Again, it doesn't matter if it was meant for that purpose, or was even used for it, it's a banned substance because it has the possibility to be used in such a way. So comparing it to alcohol as you did is a moot point. As it's a banned substance, it's a serious breach of contract and you are well within your rights to get your money back... As a club, we were well within our rights to demand compensation and CAS supported us on that.
  4. He didn't but his contract wasn't worth as much. His club could have gone and tried to get reparations though. Also... how do you know that he wasn't on coke during a match? :P Not to mention that he could have been taking it before training... better training leads to a better performance.
  5. The point is cocaine is performance enhancing...
  6. The jokes in Family Guy are nothing to do with the storyline though, they're completely interchangeable with stuff like "you think that's bad, what about the time when..." It has it's place, but I couldn't watch more than one, maybe two episodes in one go. I think your main problem with South Park is the episode where Cartman said that ginger kids have no souls.
  7. The warning at the beginning of South Park says that 'This programme should not be viewed by anyone.' Which gives them some pretty decent cover. I think I've grown up with South Park, so that might be why I like it more, but when I was younger it was just puerile, which I loved, and as I've grown older and older, it's grown more satirical with me. Some of the social commentary it gives is brilliant, which you just can't get in Family Guy. Like when they had an episode about how the Japanese were killing Whales and Dolphins... then the 4 kids find out that it's all because America blamed Hiroshima and Nagasaki on Whales and Dolphins... so they decided to convince the Japanese that it was actually a doctored photo and it was actually Chickens and Cows who did it. So now they just kill Chickens and Cows in their thousands, like NORMAL people. I can't imagine anything close to that coming from Family Guy.
  8. South Park is better than any of those, no question.
  9. I think what Epic was meaning was that when Zhirkov plays at left back, he doesn't have the same confidence to attack as Cole does. He's more worried about covering his defensive responsibilities than bombing forward, so ends up being less effective. Personally I'd say it's a fair assessment, but something which he'll easily improve on given time. Next season I'd expect him to be better going forward from left back than Cole is though, no doubt.
  10. I'm glad there's another fan out there. Although I didn't think the film was much good, they tried to pack far too much storyline into it, but that's just because they cancelled the show way before they were finished.
  11. What a save from that penalty! My mum predicted it as well
  12. I think it's free on freeview this weekend too.
  13. :D Quite simply, you're wrong. Victim of the media? lolwut? I think you're just blinded by the system you play it on. Try it on the PS3, or the 360 and you'll see how wrong you are. PES2010 is better than FIFA2010 on the PC, and PS2, yes. It's not better on a console which FIFA is designed to run on, simple. Also, don't say fact after anything, it makes you look as retarded as a certain fat waiter.
  14. Surely they're way too mainstream to really be cult TV. The only answer is Firefly, though.
  15. I think he'll get another chance on loan. One more season to prove that he's actually got the talent. If he fails again, he'll be gone. If no one wants him... he'll be gone.
  16. I'd much prefer Manuel Fernandes from Valencia. He's got that Essien style ability to drive on the midfield, with a bit of pace. He's strong, although not quite as strong as Essien, and has a fierce shot on him. If we're looking to cover Essien, I reckon he's the one to do it. If we're looking for a DM, I still reckon De Rossi or Toulalan.
  17. As easy as this? http://fakesend.com/
  18. Anyone else think that the scouser made this up? E-mail addresses aren't hard to spoof, so it wouldn't take much effort for a scouser who's bitter with the lack of funds to make it up? Just to add more pressure on the board so they can get rid of them. I can easily see that happening, myself.
  19. The rate at which these footballers get done for speeding, surely they'll have a direct debit set up?
  20. Nah, they always get caught.... admittedly in a room full of supplies and tools, which make escape easy, but they still get caught.
  21. Where is KFC at a time like this?
  22. I really thought you meant Peter Kenyon there.
  23. Is he really worth the money being quoted, though? I've read £22M, which seems a bit ludicrous to me. From what I've seen, he's nothing special, and not worth that much. Oh well, I guess.
