Season over for Duff
And if I remember correctly, we still got bo**ocked for being boring. I miss the old Duffer, the one who'd beat a player just because he could, and wouldn't make a hash of it, unlike some Portugeezer I could name. If it wasn't for all those injuries, he'd be up there with Lamps and Drogs as our top scorer. He looks well past his best at the Toon, even though he's one of their main attacking players there, along Martins and *gaspshockhorror* Milner. Last I heard, he was a Sunderland target for next season, which is kinda sad. Consider this: Blackburn > Chelsea > Newcastle > Sunderland. How the mighty have fallen.

JT - Offer Jose a new deal and Frank and I will sign
Oi, editing my posts are we Maksimov? You work for The Sun eh?

JT - Offer Jose a new deal and Frank and I will sign
JT just wants parity with Ballack and Shevchenko. They're both on 130,000. As moos said, its not that hard.

JT - Offer Jose a new deal and Frank and I will sign
Heard on the radio this morning that JT's contract talks have broken down as the club still don't want to offer him a 9 yr, 130,000 ppw deal. This blows.

JM Wants a New Striker - Do You?
Well here are a few names I WOULDN'T like to see join us: Jermain Defoe - Mini-Michael Owen, in many ways David Villa - Just too expensive, would end up being another media target, like Sheva Eto'o - But seriously, after all he's said.... Robinho - ........ Here's a couple I'd like to see play for us next season: Andrew Johnson - Love the workrate and the pace, not sure about the diving though Carlos Tevez - He's had his one-season bedding-in period, and what a baptism it was!!! Imagine if he was surrounded by players of more quality and hunger.... Of course, we must not forget: Scott Sinclair Ben Sahar Children are our future, let them lead the way....!!!

A Decade
Yes folks, this Friday marks exactly 10 YEARS of supporting the SuperChels!!!! (for some strange reason I even remember the date I joined). What started of as simply a way of belonging to a non-United, non-Liverpool, non-Arsenal group of friends (numbering all of 2 individuals, myself included), soon grew into something bordering fanatism (local Spurs fans used to dread monday mornings). Its been a great 10 years and I can proudly hold my head high and say to every other closet blue and say: WHERE WERE YOU WHEN WE WERE AVERAGE??!!??? It was a true blessing for me to see the masterclass of Zola and Desailly. The rising of JT and Lamps stars', Eidur and Jimmy - who terrorized defenses for a couple of seasons, and last of all Roman. Its been a great ride so far, with more up then downs (especially of late) and I've never doubted my decision to support this club. I've been inactive lately on the CSR due to my post-graduate commitments, but that doesn't mean I still don't watch my beloved on TV every weekend. Feels good to have come this far.

Glen Johnson coming back next season
Can't be worse than Del Horno was for us last season? Or Paolo Ferreira this season? Glen showed at the start of this season how, with a few games under his belt, he has the quality to push for a starting place. I considered this thought early this morning: We buy Miguel, bring back Glen, and we have 2 RB's for next season. Sell Paolo, he can't cut it any more and doesn't give us attacking options down the right. Push Geremi to right midfield. That way, we don't need to buy another winger anymore. Even if SWP leaves, we have more than enough cover there (assuming Cole and Kalou are also drafted into those positions).

Glen Johnson coming back next season
Glen is the best English right back since Gary NEville. He's great going forward and is strong in the tackle. Pace allows him not to get caught out too often and has good footwork. I would welcome him with arms wide open.

player ratings
I suppose my lazy is someone else's cool head. The jury is still out on Ballack, and it doesn't look good.

player ratings
G4, Ballack was good????? 2 great passes the whole game and you call that good. Lamps had to do a lot of defending and he did that well. True he was poor going forward until the last 20 minutes but Ballack was rubbish. Slow on the pass, generally poor distribution, lazy, slow.....the list goes on.....I hope your just being sarcastic Same with your comments on Robben Mikel can be a great player, but, like Rooney, needs to curb his temper. He could easily have gotten Toure sent off, just by not reacting, but he did, and made a has of the thing. I'm sure JM would have bit his head off later on.

only 2 points
Q:How many years will it take for Liverpool to finally win the EPL title? A: Dunno, they're still looking for the dressing room lightbulbs

Ballack injured
So how long is Bridge out? I heard that Boularouz is training again, so it shouldn't be long. God knows we need all the players we can get

The Great Gooner Gullibility Mystery
Biggest loada rubbish I've read in a while (or at least since yesterday). Those twits have at least 2 players who can play in every position (not to mention 8 left-backs and 3 right-backs)!!! What small squad?

Diarra dropped for being late
Octville, Your posts have a very derogatory nature more often than not. You seem to be the glory-hunting type that was so typified by the prawn-munchers up north. Just because things are rocky this season, you take swipes at JM with every other post. I wonder if we were top of the league with Sheva and Ballack busting the net on a weekly basis, would you be here moaning? Or would you be at RedCafe moaning?

On the Grapevine... Too many ludicrous suggestion
we won't be getting Bent as the price is insane (we were quoted over 20 million quid i think). Baros would be a good signing (since its a loan) as his pace and constant running would give us some width and more penetration. Plus he can play in the CL. Defoe....I have no comment on that....

Barca or Bayern?
I too thought I'd be voting for the minority when I clicked on Bayern. Stunning strike worthy of any match
