Carlo PF Tal Alex Wayne Mikel Sidwell Lampard Kalou SWP Sheva I noticed that Sheva usually scores against teams with weaker defenses, so Leicester should be another happy hunting ground for him (plus a great time to be re-integrated into the side, hopefully with a new strategy to deploy him). We will be losing Kalou and Mikel to the ACN so might as well use them to the fullest while we can. Sidwell also needs a bit more match time to ensure that when the Africans leave, he will be ready to replace Essien/Mikel.

We beat Coventry 6-1 in one of CR's first games in charge, with a hattrick from a certain Dutch continent....errr....striker I mean. In fact I think it WAS CR's first game in charge.

I would like to see: Cech Belletti Tal JT Cole SWP Mikel Essien Malouda Joe Cole Drogba I feel that with Lamps out it will be a great opportunity for Joe Cole to shine in a role he may be more accustomed to playing. He and Malouda both like to start on the left and drift inside, so in this case, Joey could start behing Drogs and Malouda on the left, then that swopping places. If the game proceeds well and we are in front, SWP could also be included so that we have 3 players constantly swopping sides, making it very hard to defend against. However, I get the impression that it will be Kalou who will get the start on Sunday and play in the same role I hoped Joey would play in.

I think he even did that with Mikel for a bit last season right? And look what happened to the boy....this might be the same thing that happening now to Sheva. The only difference is that Mikel is, as i mentioned, a boy and has a higher degree of, err...plasticity. In other words, he learns faster. Hopefully, Sheva can adapt just as well. Avram Grant was also brought in supposedly to help Sheva, so lets hope that we see an improvement from the Ukranian this year. Kornblume mentioned that with SWP and Malouda playing well down the wings, it may be possible that Sheva will get more quality chances in front of goal. *fingerscrossed*

Do the friendlies get played on a first-come-first-serve basis? Because although my next match is against His Royal Lozzyness at the end of the month, I'm free in the intervening period. I did challenge a few of the others but no news so far, so either they have no accepted my challenge or I can only play the other games AFTER I've played Loz?

Does this mean we have to log in to view the game live. I live in Malaysia and its now 11.07 AM here, or 1.07 PM Melbourne time, getting online may be a little difficult (loz will tell you all about the joys of time zones.......remember those days loz? ). However, if its just a matter of setting the team strategies and watching the game at our leasure, then its not an issue, and the games can be played any day from Monday-Friday. Oh, and speaking of team strategies, how do I change my team's formation?

What are the chances of BOTH Cesc and JudasMach2 going to Barca by the season's end? Pretty high no doubt. Never thought I'd say this, but Barca may actually become a well-rounded team, if the ego's don't tear the dressing room apart

From what I know, Roman doesn't agree with the manager having so much power over the club and wants to split the responsibilities across the board, literally. I hope Grant was brought in to help the "problem" players like Sheva and Ballack, Robben even, but not tamper with JM's strategies and all round training routines.

To my knowledge there is no golf course in Malaysia called Octville. Then again, there are no real golfers here either.

Great result indeed and I'm pleased that none of our players got booked, but what about next week? If any of our players get carded next week, they'll miss the final (if we make it ).
