  1. United Injury list "The Premiership leaders do have injury problems though, as Louis Saha (ankle), Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (knee) Darren Fletcher (ankle), Mikael Silvestre (shoulder) and Edwin van der Sar (calf) are all out and with Henrik Larsson now back in Sweden, Ryan Giggs is likely to play up front alongside Wayne Rooney. Paul Scholes is suspended. " Cmmon Bolton!
  2. ... the famous treble? In all honesty, United are looking strong in the PL and even if they lose to us I dont see them losing another game. They have done well in Europe and are one of the strong teams left in the CL And, they will probably get to the final of the FA cup. Do you think its possible? Alex does it again, retires on a big, big stage? Im sure their players are aware of this and will play each game like a cup final to try and achieve it. They might end up winning nothing, but they have the chance to win everything.
  3. mikels long legs and movement remind me of viera his casual approach reminds me of zindane
  4. He might be ready to make that step. no one thought he would be ready to play RB - but he trained in the position and did exceptionally well.. .. im sure if he starts training back in the center of the park he will do a good job. obviously he isnt anywhere near Maka ability .. then agian i dont think anyone is, Essien apart, perhaps. no one is ready to start playing on a regular basis - untill he starts playing on a regular basis.
  5. It is if he made the mistakes - who else should you blame? What you are looking for is for him to learn from them. sure thing. but you cannot really expect him to play a number of games as RB (all of which he was super at) and then suddenly be as good in the center of the park - he is learning and is not a vetran of the game. Established players like Sheva and Ballack have found it difficult to come and adjust to a new leage - a kid like Diarra must find it almost frightening to be amongst established world players and be expected to adapt to new positions in important games. he was poor no doubt - but given the season he has had, one poor game where he has been played in a different position, in a knockout game, where the entire team was poor - really doesnt do justice to starting a thread comparing him to maka. where were the threads comparing him to Ferreria - saying what a marvelous job he has done in that position.
  6. Diarra has been playing RB for a long time - you can suddenly stick him in the middle and expect a SUPER game - he's still a kid and its difficult to adapt to a new position ... look at the field from that prespective and then go back to the old position and have a brilliant game. If memory serves correct he was SUPER in the middle before he went to RB Everyone had a poor game. its not fair to blame a young player.
  7. United have 9 games left in the Pl. After their game against Boro in the FA cup .. their next game is in a week .. so they get plenty of rest. Sat - 17th .. Bolton at HOME Sat - 31st .. Blackburn at HOME Sat - 7th .. Pompey AWAY Tue - 10th .. Sheff UTD ... at HOME Sun - 15 .. Chelsea AWAY Sat - 21 .. Boro at HOME Sat - 28 .. Everton AWAY Sat - 5 ... Man City AWAY Sun 13 .. West ham HOME - If we win our game in hand and say we beat United at the Bridge .. the gap is down to 3 points. So ... we need them to drop a total of 4 to win it (assuming we win all our games) - we still play Arsenal away .. and got Bolton at home. Anyone see United dropping 4 points? and us winning all our gameS?
  8. does anyone have a link/video of the celebrations and trophy presentation?
  9. Brave Terry The Big fight Bonus - Best of Jose 2006 dvd rip Theo Goal Drogba 1st Drogba 2nd Enjoy!
  10. Diarra and Ricardo were AWESOME - 10/10 Drogba is going to cross the 30 goal mark .. what a fantastic season!
  11. why is ballack playing? he has been useless 1st half he just runs back and forth .. or tries to
  12. is the game delayed for sure? can someone confirm this?
  13. According to Jose, Frankie didn't even look like he could have played as he was ill before the game. I don't know how he does it, personally. Cheers, Butch Well, i guess that explains it. Props to him, shows his love for the club and responsibility.
  14. I thought Essien and Diarra were exceptional! Carvalho and Maka had super games too. I expected a tad more from Lampard, the game against Norwich and this one, i thought he was just about ok. Drogba had a poor game, think its the hair ... but he wasnt in it at all. Decent result. Queeeresma is a good player but moans on the slightest touch
  15. Its Sad to see Madrid in such a situation. Great club, great great players over the years. Why cant they just let everyting settle and get back on track? They should just get rid of Raul and others who are trying to run the show..
  16. It already has! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/a ... ge_id=1779 "The former Milan, Roma and Juventus boss?s exit would renew speculation that Jose Mourinho could be headhunted as his replacement. Youth team coach Michel would be promoted to caretaker boss and the Chelsea manager would be joined by Getafe?s German boss Bernd Schuster as favourites to take over at the end of the season. "

  18. Alright then .. as a result of popular demand .. im back! So .. we have had our injury problems, Ballack and Sheva have not been as influential as many would have liked, and to top it off Terry has been out. United have been playing very well .. props to them. But, they still have to play us at the Bridge and Liverpool at Anfield. Anything can happen .. they will drop points - but will they drop 6? Will we win the PL again? Or are United too far to reach?
  19. yogic posted a topic in General Chelsea FC
    Pretty frank about it ...
  20. albiet not in the best of circumstances, never the less its the best chance for bridgy to shine .. and i have no doubt he will be super for the rest of the season.
  21. I know Ballack has just arrived this season .. and perhaps needs time to settle. BUT Essien had also just arrived last season .. and was IMMENSE from the start. Position aparat .. contribution to the team. - a poll by yogic .. priceles.
