It’s always puzzled me why fans worry about the financial side of deals the club is making, it’s a billionaires playground. The only prerequisite should be how good is the player, not how much they cost. Brighton are doing very well financially, but will they spend the profits on advancing the club ?

I keep missing out on this because its down the bottom in its own forum. Wow, he’s already everything Lukaku isn’t, I love his tenacity to fight for every ball. The fact he can somersault like that tells me he doesn’t get injured.

I mean we wont beat city over 38 games, we can win one off games, but i don’t care if we lose both those city games, as long as we are dominating the rest. Our problem under Potter was being incapable of dominating even the bottom clubs, but this is a new team and manager with new styles of play and my point is we could do well and shock a lot of people on here.

I still say 2nd place is available if we hit the ground running and breed confidence into our players. In the past few years we’ve seen teams come from nowhere the season before to challenge for the top spot, Arsenal last season, Leicester of course, then Liverpool 18/19, Spuds 16/17. It wouldn’t be that much of a shock if we did it this season, although i don’t see us beating city, we have 36 other games we can win.

It’s a bit strange that if that’s the case and he signed a 5yr deal with a release clause only effective in the first two years. Waste of time having a release clause at all if that’s the case.

Angelo will still only be 19yo after a years loan, he could be two loan spells away from joining us, unless he is exceptional of course.

I’ve never heard of a release clause expiring before.

A lot of great players have had attitude.

Also he’s not Lukaku.
