Everton MOTM in Cup Semi 1st leg
It was a yellow card no more, ref called it wrong, but were still too good with 10 men (half of them are 2nd/3rd choice). Everton your a joke !! We are the best !

ANELKA DEAL VIRTUALLY DONE ...
They word it to sound like 'bid rejected' but what they mean is that 'the accusation of a bid being made' has been rejected. [iframe:26j7rqy1]http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/bolton_wanderers/7175749.stm[/iframe:26j7rqy1]

Drogba once again confirms June departure
At least he is giving us plenty of notice to quit. 6 months is plenty of time to sort out a replacement.

Drogba once again confirms June departure
We need to sell him and get the highest possible price, not let what happened in Gallasgate happen again. 1.Make sure he leaves the premiership. 2.Get the highest possible transfer deal for CFC. 3.Buy a striker that will keep his gob shut in return for riches. Anelka
Champions League is Mickey Mouse? Hat trick against Barca away just as an example and the fact that he almost singlehandedly took Dynamo Kiev to UCL quarter-finals and then to the semi-finals the next season. It doesnt matter how much you paint it up, Sheva has not proven he can play outside the Italian 'technical' league.
-
Anelka
I take it you never saw him play for Dynamo Kiev. No i never.Mickey mouse leagues dont count. Anelka has proven he can club hop & keep form, Sheva did it once! Anelkas club credentials, goals scored in all comps, followed by appearances in all comps. Bolton 21/56 Fenerbahce 16/57 Man City 46/103 Liverpool 5/22 PSG 19/67 (2 spells) Real Madrid 8/39 Aresnal 28/90 Very consistent in 3 top leagues.

Anelka
I think he is pretty even with Crespo at the moment with combined total of transfer fees worth about £70mil. Anelka will move somewhere before his career is over so he should be able to take the first place in that category. But if you ask me which of them has been better value for the money, I'd say Crespo any day of the week. It's such a shame Hernan and his family never settled into the life in London. Then again, if Anelka comes to us, I hope he can prove the world he is truly a world class striker. I'd agree and add Crespo is our best value for money player we have had at Chelsea since Zola. On Anelka i think he has proven himself already, being 2nd/3rd choice striker behind Trez & Henry is no disgrace. He has scored some great goals, hes been consistant at most, if not all the clubs he has played for. Sheva only had his Milan credentials when we paid all that money for him, i just think Anelka would be much better value than buying Berbatov or another Sheva. I just got a feeling that Anelka is going to be a great player for us, i feel like were his kind of club if you know what i mean ?

Anelka
Ok not a done deal yet, but it would be more of a shock if we dont sign him, after all thats been said and done. Anyway lest pressume the ink has dried & talk Anelka @ CFC. He will be fully at home in West London, and i for One am expecting him to shine for us. He is in cracking goal scoring form and at the peak of his career. I'm excited, got to be honest, he has always been portayed as the mercenary of European football. I would imagine he is close to being the all time most valuable player, if you add up all his transfer fees together. Good products hold their value. To have Sheva, Drogba AND Anelka in the same squad is going to scare a few defences between now and May. So here is to Mr Anelka, may your stay with the Blues be very pleasurable for all, especially Roman !

Best signing since Roman
Trouble is he talks more than Jimmy did, thats an achievment !

Chelsea vs QPR in the FA Cup
Your not looking for form in the FA cup are you ? Thankfully we scraped through, but lets save the goals and good performances for another day.
-
Time for anti-Avram !
This is a fansite forum to discuss Chelsea and other related football issues. Critics are welcomed, but your not making yourself very clear, you say Avram did well over Christmas, but you slate him for losing to Arsenal and Manure. You arent a very fair critic are you ?

35 MILLION FOR BerBatov !!!
Berbatov injured and off 15 mins into Reading game. In fact he didnt go off, the commentator overplayed the situation. Berbatov just scored equaliser.

ANELKA DEAL VIRTUALLY DONE ...
We already worked that one out Star. Weve stopped leaving the club in charge of checking the rule book, and started doing it ourselves....

Really hope JT is not out for rest of the season

Which players 'love/loved' the club
Obviously not the player who wanted Liverpool to knock us out of the CL. I remember Hudson saying something similar a few years ago, but not about Liverpool. One of our biggest critics maybe. But i grew up with him in the team he was a loyal player.
-
'You only beat yourself up if you harbour regrets'
Lets hope his 2nd biggest highlight will be to score the winner against the foreigners club in the FA cup. C'MON BURNLEY !
-
Which players 'love/loved' the club
Le Saux came back, so must love us. Kerry Dixon, it was Dixon that dragged us through the 80's, a true blue, he worships Chelsea. Nigel Spackman.

35 MILLION FOR BerBatov !!!
Well to be fair on Roman £30 mill isn't really money for him. It's like dust in a corner. Ooomph !
-
Arjen Robben -- er, Flourent Malouda, injured again
If we do buy Anelka i dont think we will have a regular place for Malouda.

Considering everything, thats made my Christmas !

Target ....
Sorry yeah your right. So we have a chance of getting them back much earlier than i thought.
-
Ballack Penalty
Ballack is not a Dove, or is that a Dover ? Dived mate
-
Target ....
If i remember right its 20th Jan-8th Mar (Final). Yes i know they could be back earlier, but not all of them and dont forget they may need to be rested or injured when they return. It's much better to make plans without them in.
-
Target ....
Target for the next 8 games without our African comrades ? I think 20 points from the next 24 points available would be a great target to aim for without John Obi Mikel (Nigeria), Didier Drogba and Saloman Kalou (Ivory Coast), Michael Essien (Ghana). We probably will have Anelka and maybe 2 more players to come in, all 3 available for premiership duty. I think maybe we could suprise everyone this season with a real late snatch and grab involving our 2 home games late on against Arsenal and Manure (For which the Africans will be back). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, 14 January 2008 Barclays Premier League Chelsea v Tottenham, 20:00 *3PTS ? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 19 January 2008 Barclays Premier League Birmingham v Chelsea, 15:00 *3PTS ? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wednesday, 30 January 2008 Barclays Premier League Chelsea v Reading, 19:45 *3PTS ? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 02 February 2008 Barclays Premier League Portsmouth v Chelsea, 15:00 *1PTS ? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday, 10 February 2008 Barclays Premier League Chelsea v Liverpool, 16:00 *3PTS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 23 February 2008 Barclays Premier League Tottenham v Chelsea, 15:00 *3PTS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 01 March 2008 Barclays Premier League West Ham v Chelsea, 15:00 *1PTS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 08 March 2008 Barclays Premier League Chelsea v Derby, 15:00 *3PTS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 15 March 2008 Barclays Premier League Sunderland v Chelsea, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 22 March 2008 Barclays Premier League Chelsea v Arsenal, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 29 March 2008 Barclays Premier League Chelsea v Middlesbrough, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 05 April 2008 Barclays Premier League Man City v Chelsea, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 12 April 2008 Barclays Premier League Chelsea v Wigan, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 19 April 2008 Barclays Premier League Everton v Chelsea, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 26 April 2008 Barclays Premier League Chelsea v Man Utd, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday, 03 May 2008 Barclays Premier League Newcastle v Chelsea, 15:00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday, 11 May 2008 Barclays Premier League Chelsea v Bolton, 15:00 Chelsea win the title at home to Bolton on the final day of the season 2-0 with a Frank Lampard double !
