POLL: Who should be our next manager?
What makes you think Rijkaard is idea? Outside of Barcelona what has he done thats so spectacular? Benitez could manage Barcelona and win the treble. With that squad its hardly a managerial achievement.

POLL: Who should be our next manager?
Because the chances of Mourinho returning are extremely slim. It'd be something completely new if he did. AVB has beaten Mourinho's records with Porto and plays more entertaining football. The only down side is he has yet to win the Champions League.

POLL: Who should be our next manager?
Whoever it is I hope this is sorted out quickly so we can move on.

POLL: Who should be our next manager?
Andre Villas-Boas. Last time we took a risk on a manager like that we became the best team in the world. Lets not f**k it up this time though.

He's gone
http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2364758,00.html Lets see what happens now... Thanks for the double Carlo. Great guy, good manager, carried yourself with dignity though out your time with us but it wasn't meant to be.

Luka Modric
I rate Sneijder higher to be honest. But Modric has carried that Spurs team this season. Whenever they do something great he seems to be involved.

Everton v Chelsea (PL) 22/05/11 KO 16:00 BST
I don't think he does at all. The man is a billionaire, I think he knows a little bit about business. He made most of his money in oil right? I doubt he went into oil refineries and told the staff how to run it! :P I don't think he's in the dressing room picking subs and directing the players, the coaches are. The most I can see him doing is suggesting who we should buy, whether he overrules the manager on that is the worse I can see him doing, and there's no evidence to support it. I even remember reading in an interview of Jose that Sheva wasn't his first choice, but since his first choice couldn't be obtained Roman recommended him and Jose agreed to try it. I can imagine the same being true of Torres and Carlo.

We do need some stability, but clearly Carlo isn't the man to deliver it.

Glad to see the end of this miserable season.

Underrated Movie Sequels
Agree! Though the alien vs predator movies really started pissing on the franchise. Individually they're my favourite creature movies.

Well it looks like do or die for Torres. Lets hope he plays a blinder.

He would have at the Bridge. Can't imagine why Drogs isn't even on the bench... Never seen a fit Drogba completely left out before.

Luka Modric
As has been said can't see Spurs selling him to us. They're not exactly a competitive rival to us either, they just think they are. I can see him going to Man United if anywhere.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals
Ronaldo has broken the all time La Liga top scorer record. A record that has stood for 51 years. He scored 40 goals in 34 games in the league. 85 goals in 89 for Real in all competitions. Messi scored 33 in 31 in the league. He's a c**t but thats some achievement.

POLL: Do you think Ancelotti should stay or go?
I think the majority here is willing to give Carlo another go. The poll is pretty promising and the press seem to think the majority of Chelsea fans support Carlo. I'm actually surprised by the amount of support we've given him as a fan base. Back in 2005 the "Fergie Out" chants were deafening when we were unstoppable.

Neymar
We can put him wide in the 433 and see if it works. If it doesn't he only has to score 5 goals (Bale) and a couple in the CL to gain a massive resale value and his development will have been well worth it.

I hope Barcelona go 1-0 up in the final within 10 minutes and spend 80 minutes doing that to them.

What changes would you like for next year? (merged)
The point was that he's literally earned legendary status at this club. Regardless of the future or whoever our next strike legend becomes, it'll be sad to see Drogba leave us. He's one of a kind.

Don't know if anyone's seen this footage so: http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,26691,12606_6839919,00.html

POLL: Do you think Ancelotti should stay or go?
I can see your reasoning but we're talking about grown men here not children. Look at the military, young Officers come out at the age of 20ish and command men twice their age into extremely dangerous war zones, have their respect and complete devotion. My boss is a f**king idiot and he's younger than I am (thank you nepotism) but I still do what he says. I'm not saying that I don't think people like Drogba have big personalities, but I know they're professionals as well. The mark of a good manager in football or any other business is someone who can command the respect of his team (or staff), and Villas-Boas certainly does that with Porto. I wouldn't be concerned with that as an issue because it would have come up before now.

I think we can all agree the day Drogba leaves us will be a dark day for Chelsea.
