If he is to stay I think he needs to hit the weights in the Summer and if I were him I’d be doing extra training sessions on finishing. We know he gets into the space but his finishing is abysmal.

I actually don’t think we should brings Martial in as a wide player. I think we should bring him in as a centre forward. Pat Nevin on BBC Radio 5 live was saying that he isn’t a wide player.

I don’t think Rodgers was the reason why they nearly won it but he clearly had some influence as the coach. I think he was carried that season by the players who were hungry and I don’t think people remember that they weren’t in the title race really but teams kept dropping points at the top and they kept grinding out results. Then all of a sudden they were getting closer and I think the desire kicked in. Also I think one of Rodgers ultimate failings was there match against us. They came in incredibly arrogant, they thought they were gonna blow us away. A better manager would have coached the players better in that situation. Also after Gerrard slipped notice in that game all he did was try to score to make amends? Again a better coach would have dealt with that better and man managed the player there telling him to be patient and play his normal game. Now I’m not saying Rodgers is a bad coach, far from it. I actually think he deserves some credit what he’s achieved with Celtic. Yes they are the only team capable of winning the league there but they had never done an unbeaten season or a double treble before.

It’s very important to keep experienced players around. It’s why at Man U Fergie kept players like Scholes and Giggs around, they can come into a game and through experience can still do a job. With us I wouldn’t be so quick to ship out Cahil and Fabregas for example. They should definitely be replaced but not discarded. Having players like that around other players wil?l learn from them and they will also come in when required putting a bit of pressure on the other players.

I don’t get what’s been wrong with him since he left Madrid. Even when he came back and declared himself “the happy one”, something was off. He did look genuinely happy when we won the league cup but he didn’t when we won the league. Then move on to last season at Man Utd, he wins the league cup and Europa League but was miserable as sin after both. What a bitter ungracious twat he was yesterday: - United controlled the game from the first half: no they didn’t they were useless first half - Chelsea has zero shots on goal: obviously missed the few from Hazard and the shot from Alonso then. ...and more bollocks. Honestly he used to be a great character in the game but now he’s just an annoying git who scowls, moans and makes excuses.
