Not saying he was terrible, he worked hard etc but when he's in midfield along with Kante, that's two players in there who aren't going to create anything. Kante isn't expected to of course in his role, but Kovacic has licence to get further forward and he does what exactly? Once Havertz is match fit, he comes in for me.

Willian has had good games for Chelsea, we shouldn’t forget that, but there were flashes during seasons, rather than consistently week after week. Eg his performances against Barcelona in 2018 and spurs last season are right up there in terms of quality. but I was surprised we went to the extent of offering him (at the time) a two-year deal at a soon-to-be 32-year-old. Thank goodness Arsenal were stupid enough to give him a three-year contract on big money.

I tuned in to watch the second half with them. Some may think I’m a bit sad. But honestly it was hilarious. Particularly them already losing their patience with Willian. Taken them two months to turn on him. Arsenal fans are so sh*t (even if they may have had a point!)
