  1. Only caught the last 20 mins from naughty streams, from that we looked absolutely dominant although the highlights on sky showed abit of a differen't picture. Drogs was defiantly onside (despite whatever the commentator kept saying) and I thought the way we were coming forward showed real promise, stick Essien in that position again and I think we'll be alright he was bossing that postion and that seemed to give Ramieres some license to be good. Title might be looking abit far off but at least the "difficult moments" over, fed up of justifying defeats and draws to bottom draw prem sides. Still gutted about monday but we move onwards and upwards. Come on the chels.
  2. JT gets the popular vote but I loved Essien. He looked like the boss towards the end of the match and I like a player willing to stick the boot in, reminded me of some of Dennis Wise's more controvertial contributions. Naughty. Loved it when JT bombed up the pitch in the second half shouting at the lads to follow mind, pure class. Alot happier than I was a couple of days a go despite the result, the team fought for that result and thats all I want (unlike the travesty that was the second half at home to Everton).
  3. Can't believe we are even considering sacking a manager who in his first season at the club brought us the double. I know we go through this sh*te every 3 years or so and I didn't mind when we're losing all the time but when you got rid of someone of the caliber that Ancelotti is on a poor run of form that has coincided with the worst injury list I can remember. Jesus. Convincing win over Spurs will shut this talk up mind, would be nice to see the boys put in a 90 minuite performance for the captain they all profess to love.
  4. Frankly piss poor performance this half. Where is the fight? Where is the belief? 7 mins of time, sort it out boys. Need to start playing.
  5. They should have scored a couple in the last 10 minutes or so, frankly some lads need to sort it out.
  6. We need to step it up abit, looking abit lazy in the second half. Well deserved lead but we can't through this away, need to step it up. Come on Chelsea!
  7. Can't answer that but the man fired Jose who has since won lots and no doubt could have won us lots more. Money.
  8. Thought the lads played really well today, PVA in particular was barnstormingly good up that wing. Made a few defensive mistakes and Malouda seemed to be giving him abit of a hard time but given time I think he's one we should hold on to for a long time one or two of his crosses were brilliant. Josh also shined in my eyes, gave the ball away with some poor passes once or twice but the amount of quality long and short balls he put out was astonishing for someone who should be in 6th form, got a huge applause from the crowd which can only boost his confidence. I think he'll get better and better. On the match I thought Zillina played positevly and in the first half our defence did look a touch weak, foturnatly we stepped it up in the second and weren't really troubled following. Bruma I think was the biggest dissapointment but playing as a center back is about the least forgiving position possible, he wasn't woefull but made a few mistakes that raised my eyebrow. But as the potential team of the future I'd have to say I was dead impressed.
  9. Honestly I agree, we won the double last year while I would love to again we have to acknowledge that our squad is probably cresting the hill. In this regards tommorow's performance will be a good test of the youngsters and good experience, if they get used to playing good football at the bridge I'd say we have a very good chance of not needing to rely on big name signings year on year out to maintain our position at the top of English football. Mind you we are still top of the Table so if we get through this spell I'd say our title chances are as good as Man Ure's or the Arse's for that matter, hell Arsenal have been losing without as big injury probelms as us and Man Ure without an on form Roone are decidedly underwhelming (they still haven't been beet yet that being said).
  10. Thats what I'd call, looking forward to seeing the youngsters out and what they can do. Expecting a big cheer when Josh comes out the tunnel.
  11. f**k, at least 10 shots on goal and nothing. absolutely gutted. Will take positives later but frankly having just dropped 6 points to weak teams i'm not happy.
  12. Have to say Foster has bossed this so far, I've seen at least 4 attempts that would be goals against lesser keepers.
  13. Aye we keep hammering them something's got to give. Foster's the only thing keeping the brummies in it currently.
  14. We really miss lamps, even just on those set pieces. Have to say Midfield looks alot better with Malouda in there instead Zhirkov. Second half left c'mon boys lets show them why we're champions.
  15. Clearly not the end of the world but another major injury blow, no doubt our stars are injured we are going to have problems and probably drop points. Have been pleasantly surprised so far this season so here comes the sharp end of the wedge. Times like this reputations are made however and we have a crop of what I've been told (and seen) to be very talented younger players. This is where our options lie it would seem, would be lovely if some of them become first team regulars (I can dream). Little bit gutted to be honest, looked like we were on an unstoppable march but we all know these things can change at a moments notice and the sports section midweek with a chelsea player holding his head in his hands tends to do that to you.
  16. Mean't full blown injury crisis to be fair which I think is clear, we are still top of the League (not having a laugh today). Our midfield hasn't been as good when we've had Essien and Lamps out. Our back 4 were clearly weak today and got turned over. I think we agree, its up to the players fit and playing to put the performances in and if they do we'll win the title and honestly I think they will.
  17. Injury crisis, not doubt its a nightmare but we are playing both the long game in terms of building the chelsea side of the future and bringing spending under control now. All this while competing in the Prem, FA cup and Champions League for dominance. We've been turned over twice in a couple of weeks now, its pretty terrible especially by teams that are noticeably below par. But come on we're Chelsea, i've been getting Man Ure abuse after their two consecutive draws which I find vaguely amusing, this is a full blown crisis now and if we want to win anything we will need to come through it. Its up to the boys now, we are behind them and I'll keep singing but some lads seriously need to step up. Missed the match today although I would have to say I'm pretty glad as it would have turned my hungover state into abject depression (although hearing about the match has done the trick) but I still have faith, Birmingham next all eyes on us. Come on Chelsea!
