Paulo should get this solely based on the grief he was getting before the match even started

Drogba looked eager and dangerous (other than the penalty)

Lampard great to see him back.

Ivan or Terry. Terry lost his man and then stopped chasing on their Goal, but other than that I think he edged it

Toss up between JT and Paulo for me. I know there was clearly a plan for bale and paulo wasnt by himself but i was really worried about him before the match and he more than held his own. JT was a great leader today. And points in the first half when heads went down after the goal he was marching forward and carrying the team. Great to have him back. But considering i was giving Paulo pelters before ill hold my hands up and say he stood up today well done.

Has to be Terry, captain fantastic is well and truly back. Ivan was excellent alongside him again, and Ash had a very solid game too, I thought. Our whole defence had a good game I think, nothing could be done about their goal

JT no doubt.

Nice mention for Paulo though. He was hardly excellent but like ive just said in the match thread bearing in mind some of the bile thats been written about him all week, he (with help) kept Bale quiet and there are going to be some very disappointed people here tonight because they are going to have to point the finger at someone else.

JT, what a man, that was a fantastic performance from him.

Ramires really played well today and so did sturridge when he came on, just had to mention it.

JT for me.

And me.

Led by example and had a typical JT game.

Special mention for Paulo - did really well.

Dont know how any one can go against JT, did chec have a save to make other than the goal, was JT every where...?

no and yes in that order are the answers to that.

John Terry for me, thats the way to carry an armband...he and Mikel could have both done better for the goal but JT looked like he realy new what a derby game was about and if he carries on injury free and that motivated that sort of attitude will start running through the team again.

Terry by a country mile.

Showed so much appetite, organised everything, up and down the field all day.

Superb performance from the big man.

It was probably JT but based on what I expected, I had to vote for Paulo. He did an excellent job, with help, and really looked like he was putting 110% effort in to making up for some disappointing recent performances.

John terry was awesome just been on the laughable website goal.com and they gave him a 6.5. Absolute crack heads! anelka was abysmal though. good performance in general though and great to see frank back, just his presence in the box adds more to our attack don't think the midfieders get far enough forward apart from him.

That was better today at lest we showed some fight shame about the penalty but this is football yeah ::clap2:: .JT for me but Ferreira played well ::ChELSeAFaN:: ps and why is it snowing?

JT deserves it most, but good job to Drogba, who turned around our fortunes (a clear MOTM, if he'd scored the penalty) and Ferreira, who, despite expectations, was solid enough.

I see someone voted for Ramires - what a f joke.

Good away day for me, still not the 3 point lane days of my youth but still

Frustrating again though, I am not sure what is different to recent matches we have been the better te in most of them

Gone for Jt like most with a mention for paolo
