Chelsea vs. Watford (PL) Boxing Day KO 3pm GMT
Don't know what Matic was doing. We work hard to get a lead and then he has a mental breakdown. Really frustrating.

Jose Mourinho thread
First Mourinho is got rid of. Now our best player should be shown the door. You ever consider our rivals might have an agenda here?

Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
What's with this Simeone doesn't speak English thing? I doubt whether the majority of our first team speak good English. Jose could speak several languages and that didn't seem to help him much this season. If players don't listen, or can't be arsed, then you can be the world's greatest linguist, fat good it will do you.

Who should be next "long-term" Chelsea manager?
Eva Carneiro.

Who the f**k is Emenalo
I would call it ‘palpable discord’.

Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
Hiddink may have done well last time around but recall the players he had to work with: Terry, Lampard, Drogba, Ballack, Anelka, Cech, Malouda, Essien, Ashley Cole, Alex. Now compare with the current squad and tell me that the guy doesn't have his work cut out.

Who the f**k is Emenalo
What Emenalo fails to mention in his pathetic interview is that the main source of conflict was likely between Jose and Emenalo over transfer policy. For all Mourinho's failings, it was Emenalo who signed Baba Rahman, Kenedy and Djilibodji and Jose's pointed refusal to play them tells you all you need to know about what he thinks of Emenalo's contribution.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
I think he'll flourish if he wasn't given the burden of having to single-handledly win games for us. At the moment the opposition just put every one on him when he has the ball and we have no one else to exploit this. It's a case of stop Hazard, by fair means or foul, and you stop us playing. We need other skilful, goal-scoring attackers alongside him. Imagine Hazard alongside the likes of Griezmann, Lacazette or say Pogba, Mueller. Instead of the dimwits he's being asked to play alongside now.

But Michael Emenalo said this squad just walked the Premier League playing exciting football. I hope he told Pep he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Who the f**k is Emenalo
Terrible back-stabbing, lickspittle interview. Sent out there by the Board to try and smear Mourinho and to justify the Board's incompetence and mismanagement of the club. Now they bring in an interim to get us to midtable. What a bunch of jokers. Club is run by a bunch of spineless, clueless, gutless muppets. And they really think a manager of the calibre of Guardiola or Simeone can't see through this crap and is going to put up with these idiots? What planet are they living on?

Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
I just went on to twitter. First thing I saw was that Juande Ramos was asking for an 18 months contract. Chelsea have offered him 4 months. Maybe it's to make us feel grateful when Hiddink is announced.

Jose Mourinho thread
It's unprecedented for someone like Emenalo to go on TV and claim that the reason the manager was sacked is because of a rift with the players. While then going on to lay the blame largely at the door of the manager. Since when does any club behave in such a cack-handed fashion? It's one thing to sack the manager for poor results but to then wash the club's dirty linen in public and to start a smear campaign within a matter of hours is just incredible. No wonder this club is going down the tubes. Mourinho must be bloody relieved he's out of it.

Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
Hiddink? Seriously? His record recently has been a bit of a disaster. Russia, Turkey, Anzi Makhachsomething, and screwed up Netherlands qualification campaign for next year's Euros. If we're going to pick someone on past interim success at Stamford Bridge we might as well find out what Avram Grant's doing. Sheesh...

So Michael Emenalo is now the voice of the club. Now I know we're in serious trouble.

Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
Doubt it. We had Cech, Terry, Lampard and Drogba in their prime last time around. This season we've got a bunch of gutless wonders.

Jose Mourinho thread
Thought Jose did brilliantly to get a squad in decline over the finishing line last season. The Board needed to back him last transfer window to build on things. Sadly the Board seemed to think that we won the league on the back of Michael Emenalo's genius. So we did bugger all over the Summer. Now we are truly a squad built in Emenalo's image. We're fighting relegation for a reason.

Jose Mourinho thread
Good luck to Jose. Hope he gets a decent club next who'll treat with him with the respect he deserves. Jose is gone but the inept Emenalo is still there. We really are run by a bunch of clueless morons.

Oscar - Little Diamond
Honestly cannot remember him being on the field or making a single key meaningful contribution last night. Just not good enough. You cannot switch off like that. In the past we'd get at least a good first half of the season from him before a massive mid-season drop off. Now he's just started badly and more or less continued that way. He's been given a fair crack of the whip. Presumably on the basis of his youthful promise. But he's not progressed to anything like the expectations we all had of him. Maybe he'd flourish in a different league, played at a different tempo. He might even be very good in Italy. But he doesn't look cut out for the Premier league to me and I'd be very surprised if he makes it through another transfer window.

Lukaku - Blumming Useless ?
We have to take a long hard look at how we mishandled both De Bruyne and Lukaku. IMO we let them go far too easily and gave them little incentive to want to stay. Both were clearly good enough to have a future at the club, yet we contrived to drive them out of the club without them getting a chance to prove themselves. It smacks of mismanagement, carelessness and arrogance on our part. Both Jose and the Board are to blame and need to learn from it. What is the point of identifying and nurturing young talent if you fail to benefit from it? A small profit on the balance sheet is nice. But it counts for nothing in the long term when you've got gaping holes in your squad and are casting around for more expensive replacements.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
What makes people think we're too good to go down? Some of our players are championship level at best. Do people honestly think that the likes of Oscar, Ivanovic, Ramires and Matic are good enough to get into most Premiership sides on current form? Yet they all started last night. Truth is the table is an accurate reflection of the quality of our squad. We've been ruthlessly exposed this season for committing the cardinal sin of not investing when you're on top and not clearing out the dead wood in time. We hung on to too many players for too long, failed to strengthen in key areas and messed around in the transfer window bringing in players who frankly weren't good enough. Now we are paying the price. It's delusional to think that another manager will get this squad to improve. Jose has taken them as far as he can. When he wanted to transition the squad to a new level, the Board let him down. Problem is these players don't have any commitment to fight for the cause. When the likes of Oscar, Ivanovic and Ramires get to start however poorly they play then you know you're screwed. Lack of squad depth is killing us this season. It's going to take two to three transfer windows to sort it out. Best we can hope for is to still be in the Premiership next May. Otherwise we're looking at a whole new business model.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
Jose should stay. But the likes of Ramires and Oscar should go and we should not look at buying any more Brazilians unless Neymar becomes available. Jorge Mendes also owes us big time for doing him a favour and bringing Falcao to the club. After Cuadrado and Falcao, I'd think twice about getting in any more Colombians. Yes James Rodriguez, I'm thinking of you. We should not sell any more Belgians. We already screwed up by getting rid of KDB and Lukaku.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
Jose has got himself into a real hole. He knows his preferred players aren't doing it for him. But he daren't play the youngsters because we're in a relegation scrap now and he doesn't think it the best time to play them. It's a lot to ask RLC, Traore and Kenedy to turn our season around when they've not been exposed to anything other than a couple of cameos. Jose clearly thought his starting eleven would eventually play themselves back into form. But it's not happening consistently and it looks like the players are picking which games to turn up for. Really don't know where we go from here. Jose desperately needs to be able to drop the likes of Ivanovic, Oscar, Matic, Ramires and Costa. But he needs better options who he thinks can do a job. There's so much dead wood in the side, that I don't reckon anyone can salvage this season. We just need to make it to next Summer still in the Premiership and then start from scratch.

Leicester v Chelsea - Mon 14 Dec - 20:00
Mighty performance from Oscar there. First name on the team-sheet next game.
