MOTM vs Huddersfield
I've gone for Sinclair - really played well, hope Grant has the balls to give him more playing time (but I won't be holding my breath).

Avram good enough?
Abramovich, I think we'd best agree to disagree or we'll spend the rest of the week just making posts to each other There's no way you'll change my mind, and I'm sure you feel just as strongly. Deep down, you know that I'm right though

Block your ears Bluebeard - Hutton to Spurs?
Give Grant a chance? B*llocks! He played a totally unfit Lampard yesterday, which meant the rest of the side were working twice as hard to cover for him. Oh, and Lampard is no f*ckin' captain. Awful management, Grant doesn't deserve 'a chance'. All Grant has done so far is copy everything that Mourinho did, including team selection, tactics, and playing style (or lack of it). And his inability to judge when to make a substitution is costing us dear - he always leaves it too late I also doubt that Woodgate would want to be 4th choice CB, but there are plenty of good young CB's around who would jump at the opportunity. Instead we're stuck with Ben-Haim, Israel's answer to Titus Bramble. You've never seen Alan Hutton play, yet you feel qualified to comment on his ability? Hutton has been in the Rangers first team for a few years now, apart from one season where he was out with a bad injury. He's got plenty of first team experience, including quite a few games in Europe. So how the f*ck are the likes of Sinclair and Sahar supposed to become 'good enough'??? Send them out to Championship sides on loan? The only way that they can become 'good enough' for Chelsea is if they are given playing time in the Chelsea first team, but Grant (like Mourinho before him) hasn't got the balls to play them, he'd far rather select Pizzarro & Malouda - which just about sums Grant up. Ben-Haim was average at Bolton, but nowhere near 'one of the best defenders in the premiership', and if you really believe he was then I honestly don't know why I'm bothering to respond to your post.

Avram good enough?
Abramovich, I strongly disagree with nearly all your points (there's a surprise) And he's going to remain very raw if he's not given a chance. It's bloody ridiculous to select players like Pizzarro and Malouda who aren't performing to expectations, when there are promising youngsters standing by doing nothing. Nearly all clubs take a chance with youngsters and benefit from it. Chelsea seem to have the attitude that if we've bought a big name player, then he's got to play ahead of any youth players, no matter how sh*t his form is. I'm not totally blaming Grant for that, as Mourinho had the same attitude. And if that really is the case, why the f*ck do we bother with a youth academy? As I've posted elsewhere on this forum, I feel really sorry for our younger players as they're never going to get a chance in the first team so long as we've got a manager and/or owner who won't allow their selection. I was pleased with the purchase of Anelka, it was a good piece of business. As for Ivanovich and Di Santo, see my previous answer. When the hell are they going to get a chance? Again, I posted elsewhere in this forum about Spuds signing Alan Hutton and Jonathan Woodgate. Hutton would have been an excellent signing for Chelsea, yet we didn't even look at him - and it goes without saying that Woodgate would have also have been a brilliant signing, allowing us the luxury of offloading a centre back. But no, instead of that we're stuck with that useless tw*t Ben-Haim and two right-backs who aren't in the same class as Hutton. I don't agree with that. We've got the quality players and strength of squad to change our tactics if necessary, but Grant simply won't do that. He persists in playing 4-5-1, which some misguided people laughingly call a 4-3-3, a system that suits Drogba, but not Anelka. Yet he continues to use that system. Under Mourinho we became increasingly boring to watch, and that hasn't improved at all under Grant. But, like I said before, it takes all sorts.....

Avram good enough?
I've been saying it since he got the job - Grant's simply not good enough. As a manager he leaves a lot to be desired: - - the team never seems to be well motivated - the team selections could be better - Lampard should never have started today - the tactics are sh*te - his substitutions aren't too good, and are usually made far too late - he persists in putting Malouda & Pizzarro in the squad when they're clearly not good enough, yet he hasn't got the b*llocks to pick the youngsters. Weak management. - I also think he could have done better in the transfer market this window. I honestly think Grant's got this far by copying what Mourinho did. Recent performances (and particularly todays shambles) have been typical Mourinho performances, which is why I wasn't too disappointed when Jose left. I simply can't believe that anyone really thinks Grant is a good manager, but I suppose it takes all sorts.....

MOTM vs Liverpool
I've gone with Alex - hardly put a foot wrong. Cashley did well after making a bad mistake early on, and Riccy did OK too.

I'm not sure if you're serious or not, but if you are then I agree with you totally. Lampard shouldn't have even started a game of this importance, he's totally unfit - why the hell did Grant pick him???

Yeah, I realise that - I just wondered if anyone got a default response from any other clubs....- SAY NO TO GAME 39!
To all those who signed the petition - just out of interest, has anybody had any feedback yet? I've had an e-mail from the FA Premier League, which desperately tries to sell the idea of overseas Premiership games - pathetic money grabbing c*nts. I've also had automatic e-mail responses from Birmingham City (extremely brief), and from Wet Spam (which doesn't even acknowledge the subject matter, but very kindly offers me advice on tickets for future games at the Boleyn Slum)- Top TV Theme Songs
You too??? Miss Diane wasn't all that bad either, but I would have drawn the line at Amy Turtle- Times statistics (carrying a Gem and Lofty health warning)

Don't hold your breath - the press have been lauding the scouse scum since the mid-sixties. The b*stards were in the 2nd Division in 1962, so why they became so popular with the media is beyond me. The only reasons I can think of are: - a) Bill Shankly, great manager, hell of a character, always good for a quote in the same way as Cloughie & Mourinho B) the hordes of jobless scouse scum on the Kop singing an old 1940's showtune. For some very strange reason this had the majority of sports writers creaming their Y-fronts throughout the 60's & 70's. The fact that these obnoxious unemployed vermin ridden w*nkers (scousers, not journalists - though there's little to choose between the two) who used to boast about a stranger pissing in their pocket as if it were something to be proud of, used to slice up opposition fans with Stanley knives after games somehow never got reported. Death would be too good for the vast majority of the c*nts (I include journalists here).- SAY NO TO GAME 39!
Signed up - the idea is a total f*ckin' disgrace. If it goes through, I'll be totally finished with Premiership football, won't even watch a game on TV or check results - the greedy c*nts can all go f*ck themselves- Top TV Theme Songs

I'm pretty sure we drew with them away in the league and beat them at home in the Carling Cup this season. Do you know, I believe you're right. I must have been getting confused with last season's game? It just goes to show, the very thought of losing to the b*stards does my brain in - senile dementia is rapidly approaching- Chelsea v Liverfool
Even after Ghana have played Nigeria it doesn't necessarily follow that we'll have Essien or Mikel back straight away. Some of the African teams keep their squads together even after they've been knocked out of a competition - don't ask me why. And some African players take the opportunity to visit their families and friends - I've got vague memories of Babayaro(?) doing that and returning much later than he was supposed to. That's not where our problems lie, though - I'm far more worried about our defence. Hopefully Ricci will be back to partner Alex, as Ben-Haim is criminally incompetent, and I'm praying that Grant realises that Bridge is the better option over Cashley. We must beat the scouse scum, no matter what it takes - I really couldn't stand to lose to that bunch of c*nts again - twice in a season??? NEVER!!!!- Capello's First SQuad
I had to laugh when I saw this squad selection - hardly anything's changed since McClaren was picking the side. How the f*ck do some of these players get anywhere near international selection??? In some cases it's pretty clear that they're selected simply because they play for the scousers or manure. Would Crouch or Brown get selected if they were at Sunderland or Portsmouth? Chris Kirkland - good keeper, but has an injury record similar to Darren Anderton and Michael Owen. Ashley Cole - he's been sh*te for nearly two years Rio Ferdinand - makes so many mistakes it's unbelievable he's still in the United side, let alone England Wes Brown - ***see Rio Ferdinand*** Steven Gerrard - over-rated scouse turd, not good enough at international level, especially against the better teams Stewart Downing - someone's having a f*ckin' laugh, surely? Michael Owen - always injured, and even when fit he's lost his pace Wayne Rooney - over-rated scouse turd, skillful player occasionally, but not a true striker Peter Crouch - ***see Stewart Downing*** Apart from that shower of w*nkers, the squad looks OK, and it's good to see the likes of Upson, Jenas, Bentley and Agbonlahor getting recognition for their excellent form. Bloody glad I support Scotland though- Block your ears Bluebeard - Hutton to Spurs?
He might have signed him, but he hasn't played him yet has he? And I doubt he will, unless Belletti and Ferreira are unavailable - I don't buy that "he's not match-fit" b*llocks, it hasn't stopped him picking unfit players in the past. Hutton is far better than either Belletti or Ferreira, yet we didn't even look at him - kinda sums up Chelsea's buying policy for me. Spuds buy Hutton & Woodgate, we get some Serbian nobody's heard of and stick with possibly the worst centre-back in the Premiership - yes, I honestly believe Ben-Haim is right up there with Titus Bramble and Zat Knight in the 'Utter Sh*te' defenders league We also signed Di Santo, though I strongly doubt that he'll get a game any time soon, especially when the squad returns to full strength. I feel so sorry for our young players - the likes of Sinclair and Sahar must be wondering if there's any point in staying at Chelsea if they intend to have any kind of career in football. I only hope that I'm wrong and that Grant starts picking the youngsters now and again - but I won't be holding my breath.- Block your ears Bluebeard - Hutton to Spurs?
As I've been saying for ages, we should have signed him - yet another good young British player goes to WHL while we sign an over-30 foreigner. That's nothing against Belletti, but we should be signing quality younger players with an eye to the future. Though of course, Grant clearly doesn't like playing younger players.....- what other football shirts do you have besides Chelsea?
I wouldn't mind getting the 1970 yellow away shirt, that's always been my favourite Chelsea away kit. If I were to buy one 'modern' football shirt, my choice would be the Chelsea away kit from a few years back - the Embassy Regal kit - loved that one, it looked so smart. We should have kept it instead of the crap we've had since, especially the electric yellow monstrosity we've got now.- Is Haim Worth 8 Million ???
Ben-Haim shouldn't have needed much time to adapt to playing with Chelsea, after all he spent three years playing for Bolton in the Premier League. It's easier to understand Pizarro and Malouda struggling to make an impact as they are new to this country, but Ben-Haim doesn't have that excuse. And if Ben-Haim was 'happy to stay as fourth choice', then he doesn't deserve to be at Chelsea in the first place. As I said in my original post, Ben-Haim has made numerous mistakes. When Boulahrouz did the same thing he got crucified on this forum for it, and he is no worse than Ben-Haim. And I certainly don't agree with you that Mancienne would get ahead of Ben-Haim if he were good enough - Grant doesn't appear to have the balls to play our youngsters, just like Mourinho before him. Still, it would be a boring forum if we all agreed on everything - each to their own!- what other football shirts do you have besides Chelsea?
I've only got one football shirt, a Rangers one from around 1980-ish (the one with the v-neck and pin stripe, circa the Davie Cooper era). Strangely it doesn't fit anymore, it must have shrunk Also got four Chelsea polo shirts (two white, one navy, one grey) and two Rangers ones (one white, one navy). - SAY NO TO GAME 39!
