  1. Looks more like chelsea v leeds 1982/83
  2. Wolves away 1977 banned game, got the paper clipping from the other wolves game that chelsea78 said about, think that was sh lot that left 5 mins early and turned up at the wolves end with the latter spilling onto the pitch. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  3. Got every home programme from 1963 to 1969,every home and away from 1969 to 1986,then every home up to 1999 when i gave up collecting, most of the older ones up to 1974 was passed down to me by my uncle and then i started collecting myself as i was going to most games.Only programme fair i have been too was the one in russell sq that Cb mentioned last year and i think i had more chelsea programmes than they did.My collection also includes every testimonial and friendly and cup games, some are worth two bob others are worth a bit more like the chelsea leeds cup final replay goes for about £20,and if anyone has the greek version of the cup winners cup 1971 v real madrid that goes for up to £500 maybe more, sadly i only have the chelsea version of it and its only worth about £30.Still my pride and joy though and will probably pass them on to my boy,if he can find the room for them
  4. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Paper clipping from the bolton game when we took there end with the chelsea up the away terrace running across to join the chelsea in the bolton end,i got stuck up the away end that game and took all the abuse from the bolton fans as their wasn't many of us left.I can remember that fulham v sheff utd game Peckham blue as well,i remember before the game chelsea up the fulham end singing united and a good few sheffield started coming across the pitch to join us,untill i chant of chelsea went up and they all turned back.Arsenal boxing day was in the north bank, bang in the middle up the back. And millwall 76,i was only 15 and went with my dad into the cbl and was chased across the pitch into the seats, out the seats to the other end where we kept our gobs firmly shut, bad day all round that one..

  9. Don't know about Kung fu stars but was up at wolves one year and some chelsea bloke had a pocket full of 50p coins all sharpened at the edges and was wizzing them in to the wolves fans.

  12. www.evergreencoaches.co.uk Booked up on this, leaving stamford bridge friday, arriving munich 9 0 clock morning of game, leaving one hour after final whistle,£79,not ideal buy hey ho got to be there.
  13. Having my boots taken off me along with hundreds of others and walking on the terraces in socks in freezing conditions,Bristol city away springs to mind, still mine were only monkey boots got a pair of dm;s as a swap.
  14. Went with my uncle to this game and ended up being locked out, think the gates was shut a hour before kick off.
  15. Its a bloody shame the way the pubs have gone over Chelsea, used to have a good crack in the stamford bridge arms and of course the rising sun before that, songs used to be going till late into the night, same as a lot of pubs all along the fulham and kings road.Brittania was another(so bar),used to have bands on in the evening, spit and sawdust sort of pub look at that now.every one moans about the atmospere that gone in the ground but the pubs have gone the same way,the chelsea drug-store,black-bull,white hart, swan, amongst others used to be banged out with lads every week, dont remember even having bouncers on the doors at all or maybe in the evening.still i think i'm stuck in those days sometimes, things move on and i suppose we all have to move on with it,one day soon i'll make that move .
  16. And i know who nicked that painting, you know him too garry. He's doing a bit of time for the Cardiff game at the moment.Does the fat man ring any bells. And i'm not sure but i think so many people had a go at him about it,i think it did get returned by a third party, but i might be wrong so don't quote me.
  17. Quality video's again Eddie mac.
  18. A few of the Chelsea boys drank in the Morden Tavern too, probably went over there after training in Mitcham. Yeah know the Morden Tavern and the other pubs you both mention, drank in all those pubs at some time or other, another chelsea pub for a while at least was the Greyhound in Streatham, used to live in morden so done most pubs around that way before ending up back in Battersea and the York tavern where i used to meet for away games, small world.
  19. Wasn't aware of Teddy's Blind Date fame, but he was one of very few Chelsea players who came from my part of the world along with Colin Pates, Mickey Fillery and Alex Stepney. One who never quite made it with us but went on to become a bit of a Millwall legend was Les Briley and from a little bit further out Graeme Stuart and Jason Cundy. MKBlue, did you ever drink in the mitcham mint pub,a few players including pates and fillery used to get in there, knew a few lads from that way too.Talking of blind date there was a old chelsea boy in his 70's or 80's on that years ago, can;t remember his name but him and his mrs were well know and went everywhere with chelsea, anyone remember that..
  20. I remember that plymouth game and yes in was a good turnout,no where near the whole end though, also remember them ending up on parsons green and getting legged everywhere. But fair play to them because as you say not many brought fans done to the bridge in those days.
  21. Well i'm 51 now but i played for surrey when i was at school and won a surrey 5 a side tournament and runners up medal, also used to play against colin pates,a player called mark dennis who went on to play for palace, southampton when i played against their school.Went on to play in the same side as those two called mitcham royals alongside micky fillary, had a trial for palace, but started to get pissed up with my mates instead of going training(always hated training).I was a good kid till i was about 14/15 when my parents divorved and went off the rails,so instead of my dad giving me a kick up the arse i was left to do what i wanted, hence drinking up the park with my mates,I went to a chelsea old boys game not long ago and saw colin and went up to talk to him,and remember this is 35 years on since i played with him,and he said straight away, alright kingy hows things.I was well chuffed he remembered me.Come to think of it played with them for surrey too.
  22. Single piece of paper for the Arsenal friendly 1977,now worth £15-£25 Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  23. The old north stand is the only part of the ground old or new that i have never been in and can't remember it being open when i started going in 70/71,when was it actually condemmed.Garry still looking forward toseeing the pictures. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  24. Yeah now you have said that i'm sure i remember standing in the shed and half the shed chanting celtic and half shounting rangers.also the ski hats i thinkwere half and half(celtic rangers that is).Now i know all about the blues brothers stuff, and have been up to Ibrox a couple of times myself, and hate celtic with a passion, but i wonder when the hatred started against celtic then.
