He is being played out of position on the right as it is clear Danny Sturridge is both out of form and lacking in confidence after a barren spell in front of goal. Mata for me, has been a little inconsistent of late, much like David Silva at City, the long English winter and pressure during Christmas and March maybe in his first season the reason, I believe RDM has installed self belief in our squad, however he made an error in my mind taking off Torres last night. I would have withdrawn Meirelles and pushed Drogba up with Torres who was looking lively and was in a right battle with Richards throughout. Hazard is the major signing we need, let's face it.

Robbie picked the side that should have played the away game and deserves the upmost credit for sticking on Torres at 2-1 to put more pressure on their back three. The Napoli front three will go on to better things, we should buy one or two of them, maybe it's on the cards as they will now know if they didn't already what a great club Chelsea is. I'm not sure Robbie is the man for the job, but he is going a long way to becoming a legend on the bench as he was a player. Can't believe we are in Friday's draw, truly amazing stuff.

Well Jose has to be the NO1 choice and Guardiola the 2nd it's an absolute no brainer! Rodgers it could be said comes with a similar CV to AVB. Although with hindsight could have been a choice at the time.

I thought Essien looked laboured throughout and along with Lampard and Ramires were as poor as they possibly have been in the blue of Chelsea. My gut feeling is that AVB has lost the dressing room and the backing in the boardroom, but I was saying that a month ago and Roman has not acted in his usual manner. It wouldn't worry me if AVB stayed, just as long as if the Ego's were shipped out in the summer. There has to be a time when we look at the players and today there was 'nothing' No manager in the world can motivate a player that does not care for his club and it looks as if many players are using their own situation to generate a move and oust the man who signaled the end of their Chelsea career's.

I thought he was one player who looked as if he 'wanted' it today. I feel though, once Napoli finish us off, they will comfortably in my opinion, Didier will lose all his enthusiasm and along with Malouda and Kalou will actively seek a move. Quite how we re-group is questionable, but we may need to throw Torres, Mata, Ramires, Luiz and Cahill into every game and give Lukaku, Piazon and Josh the platform to 'sink or swim' Our fans have to be patient, we have not won anything for close to two years, so the Europa League and goal to return to the elite with AVB or not the target. The worry is the likes of Lucas, Hazard and the front three at Napoli will all end up with this seasons top four and then we must worry we will never return to greatness unless Roman goes mental like the sheiks at Man City,

I have finally cracked .... We will not move on as a club until Drogba, Lampard, Malouda, Meireles, Kalou, Cole and Mikel leave. Then let AVB be judged, he is out of his depth but whoever comes in won't get the best out this bunch of ego's and once champions. We have to move on.

Only Drogba and Luiz showed any heart today. The only two players that always pop up in the press backing AVB. We will never finish in the top four, not a chance and Napoli will finish us off at the Bridge. This is the worst team of the 'Roman Era' and not as a unit as good as the team that Ranieri left behind. AVB has lost the dressing room and the players lack motivation, shape or general ability to turn in a performance worthy of a blue shirt. Quite where we go from here is down to Roman, but let's not just pin the blame on AVB, the players are a disgrace, as much as AVB is out of his depth.

I usually sit in the Shed Lower and hardly hear the MHL sing these days so it maybe possible a few there mocked back - but I was a bit pissed by then!
