Winning will silence Chelsea Fans
I agree completely. This is why I'm getting bored of all these anti-rafa threads/comments.etc. I know we all hate him, I do too. But he's here and there's not much we can do about it. He's actually done a pretty good job so far. We're out of the Champions League so a high league finish is important. If we do that, I'm not complaining. I'm not saying I'll back Benitez, but I'm certainly not booing him.

I’d like the Benitez Hump… done-to-death, if you please.
This is getting sooo boring now...

The players seem to really like Benitez.
Our champions league performances were way too poor and below our standards. That's what cost him his job. We should've beaten Juve at home and at least challenged in the matches away at Juve and Shakhtar. We did have a great start to the season, we always do and we went through our usual slump through October/November. Yes, we have played some poor teams with Rafa but you have to beat who's in front of you. I thought the Man City result wasn't bad at all, considering the form we were both in. The Fulham game was poor, but it always takes a manager time to settle at a club and get things right. Winning 1-0 at Norwich is a very good result, considering United dropped points there and they were on great form. Seriously, some people just don't want to give credit because they dislike him. Whether you like it or not we do look a better team. I'm not saying I like Rafa at all, in fact I still don't. I just feel people here are way too quick in criticizing Rafa for everything because of the hate towards him. If we lose to Everton on Sunday people will blame Rafa, even though it may not be his fault

We look a lot harder to beat defiantly. Tactically we are better. True, we haven't had a big test yet. But wins away at Sunderland and Norwich have been decent. Everton away is a tricky tie, its a fixture that isn't always kind on us.

Some people on here just will never accept if Rafa does a good job because of the hate towards him. I dislike him too, but we've looked way much better with him than under RDM. May get a lot of disliking from this post but its true.

Everton vs Chelsea (PL) 30/12/12 KO: 13:30 GMT
Rafa to come on and score a last minute diving header to give us a 1-0 win. On a serious note Everton away is one of the toughest fixtures of the season. If we were to lose I can see many fans on here saying that Rafa isn't good enough and Torres is useless. Everton are no pushovers, and we rarely get a good result there. That being said, we're a different team now and they are missing Fellaini who usually is the difference against the bigger teams. Going for a 2-1 win to us. Don't care who scores. If we win it gives off a very clear message to Manchester.

Who put the ball in Villa's net? Half of... Half of... Who put the ball in Villa's net? Half of f**king Chelsea!

We should comfortably win, although games against us at the Bridge seem to be high scoring. I'm going for 4-2 or 5-1

Are Chelsea in decline?
Players don't tend to leave us. I don't believe Hazard will want to leave us unless we really do bad and get relegated. We only need a few signings to have an amazing squad. If you compare us with Liverpool, were far from being in decline.

Leeds v Chelsea (League Cup) 19/12/12 KO 19:45
Its only the Carling Cup... although this is a fixture with big rivalry against a team we haven't played for ages. Massive game for them, and a bigger game for us than we first expected. Really looking forward to it. Hopefully the quality of our players take over and we come away with a win..

So that's the shield, super cup and world club cup
Roman needs to understand that winning trophies isn't that important at the moment. We won the one last trophy we needed to get. Great. Lets re-build the squad for the future and keep the same guy in charge. We need stability. We're just ending up in the same situation every season if we keep sacking managers.

Summer 2012 signing that has performed best so far?
Azpi hasn't played that much so don't think him. Hazard had a great start to the season and he's high in the assists table. Moses and Marin haven't done much yet due to playing time. Oscar has been class, but I think Hazard just edges it at the moment.

JOSE MOURINHO PLEASE COME HOME
See I think it's best for us if City win the league again this year. If Mancini gets sacked, there's a chance that Jose could go there. And if United win the league Fergie may step down on a high. If City win it, I don't see Fergie stepping down until they win it.

Some people are so ungrateful. We won the Champions League FINALLY a few months ago and we're still 3rd in the league. Look at Arsenal and Liverpool. Look whats happened to them? I could be so much worse

Chelsea v Corinthians (World Club Cup Final) 16/12/2012 KO 10:30 GMT
<blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Snedger" data-cid="573494" data-time="1355662353">
But Lampard was rubbish mate. I know it's blasphemous, even plastic, but poor old Frank has had his time.

I know. I've know this for ages. But how many times have fans on this site (and in general) pleaded for Lampard to return? People saying how we need his leadership, passion on the pitch? He's not the same player he was, he can't play as a holding midfielder at all. His time has gone.

Chelsea v Corinthians (World Club Cup Final) 16/12/2012 KO 10:30 GMT
Right, to all the fools asking why Luiz wasn't playing in midfield. Lampard had to play, we've been waiting for his and JTs returns for so long, we need that leader on the pitch. Ramires is a player that has to play all the time, his pace and work rate is like no other. Who do we drop Luiz played well today I thought. He is a centre back, I agree we should be giving him more chances in midfield. I think he'll play there at Leeds as Mikel and Rambo are suspended

Azpi is better going forward than Ivan that's why he's been bought on

Smearing spreading Mirror
It's been confirmed that the coin that struck Rio Ferdinand was actually a Euro, as Man City fans no longer have any need for them

Who Do You Want To Win The Champions League?
Dortmund. I like watching them play, they have class young players and would love them to win it. Or Madrid, just for Mourinho! As long as its not Arsenal, United or Barcelona ill be happy.

Chelsea v FC Nordsjaelland (CL) 05/12/2012 KO 19:45 GMT
It's not done by GD, it's head to head I think. So they beat us 2-0 and we beat them 3-2, so their head to head is better.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
Just watched his documentary on ITV. I miss him so much. Such a great manager and guy. We need him badly. I'm worried what will happen if he goes to City or United. Just imagine how much they'd dominate and how much it'll hurt... We should sing Mourinho's name, show Roman what we really want. We should be able to send a message to Roman too. Say that we want him back so much, and he should do anything it takes to do so.
