Gregory van der Wiel
In what matches did this occur? I really don't recall ever seeing him playing CM, was almost always a CAM and sometimes on the wing.
-
Demba Ba?
If we had to buy a striker, I can think of a lot better than Ba. Hunterlaar for example, miles better and would probably cost less too.

Gregory van der Wiel
He's plays behind the striker and on the wings. Never seen him play any deeper than that and I've seen my fair share of him.

Hulk coming to Chelsea?
The fee really isn't that big of a deal as people are making out. It's not like it's all one lump sum of £38m, it's going to be in instalments and I'm pretty sure the amount that is going to be made from merchandise, etc will far exceed the value of each yearly instalments (Could effectively be paying for himself). In fact I would be baffled if that was not the case cause it would be illogical not to cash in on the marketing potential.

WHO DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO BE THE TOP SCORER IN EURO 2012?
Would be surprised if it was Van Persie. The players seem to almost always ignore his movements in behind defences that players at Arsenal always spot with ease and there are times were he doesn't even get a touch of the ball without having to drop deep. That combined with the fact that's he actually not that clinical (I know he's scored a lot this season but he could easily have double his total if he was more clinical, not that Arsenal fans are complaining mind you). Huntelaar would get my backing, depsite the fact that he's not grantueed a starting role.

Is JT banned for another 2 games?
It's not a booking, it's a ban. Were it two yellows then it wouldn't matter.

Hulk coming to Chelsea?
It's not 40 million in pounds, it's 40 million in euros. Works fine for Barry and Yaya, Mikel and Ramires are arguably more creative than those two. I think you are underrating both of them and also not to mention that with Hazard, Mata, Hulk creativity wouldn't be an issue to begin with. Him and Lampard is hardly too offensive, neither of them go bombing forward all the time. They pick their moments, both are more than capable of sitting and with both of them starting in the middle it negates your creativity argument. Let's not get carried away just because he's done well there towards the end of the season, he's should be nowhere near the wing. Would rather see Bosingwa on the wing than Ramires to be perfectly honest.

Lukaku frustrated.
Yes, should make quite a collection to their already growing strikerforce with currently stands at 7 strikers all playing for 1 position.

Capello as manager?
Got to the stage now where I just don't care who it is, as long as they rotate and use the youngsters where appropriate then I'm fine with whoever it is.
-
Lukaku frustrated.
Would be best to loan him out, especially if Hulk is signed as well cause he would not get a look in unless we are extremely unlucky with injuries. 6 month loan to a team like Everton/Reading/Swansea/whatever other teams only have one decent striker if Torres still hasn't impressed during those 6 months and Lukaku has then you can call him back in Jan instead of extending the loan and register him in the squad, give him game time.

Hulk coming to Chelsea?
Over a decade of transfers (as well as coaches and managers, not just players) between the two clubs, I would say it's a pretty good relationship. Each benefit from each others success. They have no problem with Chelsea buying their players (most Porto fans I know are also Chelsea fans), only problem occurs is when Chelsea bid low or expect to Porto to reduce their demands. Didn't get to where they are now by not sticking to their guns.

Hulk coming to Chelsea?
He's younger than Falcao and has always been the better of the two, I really don't see the problem.Caps mean very little considering the manager Brazil has and the amount of competition for his position.

Future Chelsea Regulars
I don't understand why English clubs don't include a buy back clause when they move their youngsters on.
-
Kalou & Bosingwa to leave + 4 new deals
Reckon Atletico Madrid might look into him, he would slot right in. They do need a right back but they might decide to get someone younger and less proven which would be a mistake in my view.

Future Chelsea Regulars
A lot of them could easily make it, however very few will be given the opportunity and we will lose out yet again.

2012/13 Squad
I don't think it would matter that much if he didn't score that much to be honest. With players like Hulk, Hazard and Mata around the goals are going to come regardless. What does it matter who scores them? We've also seen that Torres can set up his fair share of goals.
-
Where does that leave them now....
I think you are underestimating just how many games we are going to be playing next season. We are in a total of 7 competitions, two finals at around August (only takes an injury here for Sturridge to be back into the first team) and the Club World Cup at the worst possible time ever where we will definitely need backup/rotiation/youngsters. I personally think everyone would get played often under normal circumstances, the new manager however may not want to rotate often/use youngsters/etc so in that instance yeah it would suck.

England Euro 2012 Squad
Carrick is being a crybaby and wants to be assured a first team spot. While he does have a point and should be a dead cert in the first team, he's going about it the wrong way and at this moment in time doesn't deserve to represent his country.

Eden Hazard at Chelsea
Hulk holds the wings when off the ball (most of the times anyway), it's when he receives it that he starts to cut inside. It shouldn't be that much of a problem and if it does get too narrow then that's what Marin is for.
-
2012/13 Squad
Don't know why anyone would sell Torres now that players like Hazard are (possibly) joining. We finally have the players around Torres (If Hulk signs as well, although Marin wouldn't do too bad) for him to really flourish.

Eden Hazard at Chelsea
This.Even when Hazard does play centrally he tends to drift out to the left anyway, which works well for Mata cause he tends to drift inside.

Eden Hazard at Chelsea
I'm more excited at the amount of assist he would bring from the wing, which is something that has been lacking in ages. He's really good at picking out players in the box, if Kleber or Walter were actually any good I can safely say Hulk's assist tally would have double this season. In his defence, he has no reason to track back for Porto. It's normally Alvaro, the left back, who goes bombing forward. And it's not like he doesn't track back at all, he will do so when required and I'm sure he will do it more often if he was to play for a team like Chelsea.
-
Guardiola wants Chelsea job ...
Has he actually said he wants to join? Don't understand where this has come from.

Eden Hazard at Chelsea
What are you going on about, he's got similar goals and assists as the previous season when Falcao was still there. Any team is going to suffer without Falcao, Porto don't currently have any good strikers (Kleber is poor imo, decent target man but that's about it) so he's had to do a lot more of the work so of course there are going to be times when he plays poorly, he's expected to carry the team, that's clearly not going to be the case at Chelsea.
