Chelsea lodge Clattenburg complaint
How can they prove that they were false if there is just purely a lack of evidence for the allegations? I can just see this boiling down to the players' word against the ref's and his official's, in which case I don't see how the FA will be in a position to take action against either party.

I'd urge anybody to read this
It is interesting and persuasive but whilst I agree something smells rotten, alot of that argument relies upon stats which we all know are very easy to manipulate.

Chelsea lodge Clattenburg complaint
I agree with the above posts, there must be some weight to this for the club to take action as we're often very considered in our approach. I know this is pretty sad but its actually cheered me up a little knowing that Battenburg is not going to sleep easy tonight.

Looks like Webb's position in the Utd starting 12 is under threat.

What do you consider as your lowest point as a Chelsea fan?
Only being 18 aswell i'm fortunate that i've only really experienced years of success but other than obviously Moscow, the lowest point for me would have to be the 2002 cup final. I remember sitting only 2ft away from the tele sobbing my eyes out after the 2nd went in for atleast another hour after. With the Ovrebo scandal i was more angry than depressed.

Chelsea v Juventus (CL) 19/09/12 KO 19:45 BST
Definately intentional, the way he reacts to his touch suggests he must know where he wanted it. The goal deserves a thread completely dedicated to it tbf.

MOTM vs Juve (Home)
Oscar, no need to mention why really. His touch for the second was definately intended unlike Souness would have you believe.

I'd have thought Oscar was brought off due to being stamped on? He was wincing as he was running but mata wasn't a bad sub to bring on lol

The one knee-jerk to rule them all! Was satisfied with the result but very excited with some of our play and the way we kept possesion in periods of the game. I'll hold my hands up and credit juve with the first goal, shame a lapse in concentration by the team cost us the second. Oscar is a very big star in the making and couple him with our other in Hazard and well the future is blue!

QPR vs Chelsea (PL) 15/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
When have i slagged the manager off for not playing youth players, besides Moses is younger than Ryan. Dont get me wrong, im a big fan of Ryan but offensively he's just not a better winger than Moses.

Well he has been these past few years...

QPR vs Chelsea (PL) 15/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
How about the way in which he played a left back as a winger when we have an excellent natural winger in moses, who was hungry for his debut.

Good luck JT
You might have seen one of g3.7 posts on the previous page by now that i thought summed this up nicely, but still by pointing out a persons characteristic when used alongside an insult is done so because the user feels that it is a negative aspect (or something that the 'victim' may take offense to without the user truly holding this opinion themselves i.e. using a racist term without being a racist) of their being in order to add more of a personal flavour to said insult. On another note, thank you for your posts g3.7 which answer an earlier question i had in this thread about why its publicly considered more offensive to use racist insults than ones on personal charateristics. Personally I feel its wrong to not treat both kinds of insults equally despite the history of racism.
-
Good luck JT
Apologies if im taking the topic away from the trial here but this is something im having difficulties in understanding. Why is racial abuse considered more offensive than insulting a persons physical attributes? Is it due to how large a widespread issue racism was/still is whereas insulting an individual is just specific to that person?

Hulk coming to Chelsea?
Romeu? He definately has the potential

Can you support Chelsea AND England both as passionately?
Admittedly if i was asked which team i tend to care more for i would definitely lean towards Chelsea because in my case i feel that the fact that Chelsea play matches far more frequently and often of more importance does mean they are on my mind alot more. As mentioned above aswell rivalrys with fans of other teams whom we can speak to does add to the interest.

Torres contemplating leaving?
After watching a certain interview with him on SSN at the parade yesterday i cant help but feel this story is complete bull. He seemed ecstatic and was even mentioning about how much he is looking forward to the super cups next season.
