Hazard, Oscar and Mata all tend to go down the middle naturally. We need a true winger out there IMO, Moses would do the job.

We've mostly tried to play the ball on the floor, to be honest Ramires gives a lot of needed speed in the pivot, he likes running with the ball forward and that makes our transition quicker. Mikel has been good so far. Oscar, Mata and Hazard have concentrated more on the attacking phase. I think we lack a little pause when we reach near stoke's area, we've mostly tried to play quick short passes but it's difficult to break a team defending with 10 players. Moses could give us some needed width if we reach the second half and still haven't scored.

Our play looks surprisingly faster than usual. We've been quite good at getting possession back too.

I think we should keep playing Mikel - Meireles, Mary Ellis is far more mobile, quick and definitely had more work rate than lamps which is what mikel needs, his passing ability is not that bad either. Lampard should be dropped, sadly. Maybe we can switch to a 4-3-3 with Mikel, Ramires and Lamps in some games but he definitely doesn't work in a 2 man midfield.

Hope he plays well and comes back, I used to think Lampard, Drogba, Cech, Essien and Terry would all retire here as fan favorites.

Maybe we can play him in the double pivot...

Guys, what would you think about getting Riccy back? He'd be pretty cheap as Mourinho said he is not counting on him for this season. With our current options at defense I struggle to think when he would play but as an experienced backup I wouldn't mind him. Eh, I guess I just miss him.
