  1. Nevermind my earlier comment, the only season in recent years as bad as this was 07-08, losing Jose, losing the EPL on the final day, and losing the CL final.
  2. Even we can beat Villa right now they're so poor, they have a lot of new players and are under a lot of pressure to pick up points, so I think we have a real chance. I fancy us to take it 3-0 with goals from Ba, Frank and Mata. Then we let in 4 goals in injury time and lose 4-3.
  3. We may need someone for the long haul but what are the chances of anyone lasting more than 3 seasons here anyway? lol.
  4. I think Vitesse in Holland are already sort of like that, I guess the problem is a lot of clubs have their own identity and don't want to become our B team, and having loads of players on loan isn't going to help them the next season once all those players aren't there anymore.
  5. but what will you do with our number 9?
  6. Jonty replied to LMunro's topic in General Chelsea FC
I agree, we should protest like Liverpool fans did when Stevie G tried to move here because the dippers weren't giving him enough money. oh wait...
  7. If that's true, the only man i'd rather have is Jose, Guus is a superb manager and everyone wanted him to stay on past that season. My only fear is that if we do get him, Jose end's up at City, then we're properly f**ked. Maybe Roman just wants him back because he got away with being the 1 manager Roman hasn't fired, ain't no-one ruining his record.
  8. And 3 of those wins were over Nordsjaelland, Monterrey and Leeds, as well as a draw against Brentford, all of which are games we should be winning with our reserve team.
  9. Really poor first half, didn't have 1 shot on target until mata scored in injury time (1st half). Second half we dominated, had a lot of chances and Oscar stuffed up 3 chances through on goal, Turnbull up to his hilarious antics let in a cheap goal with 3 minutes to go, then the ref inexplicably gives 5 minutes injury time when there were no injuries and we hadn't even used all our subs, and we fall apart. Reading didn't have 1 shot (on or off target) until about the 77th minute, only had 2 shots on target (the 2 goals). Overall, I can't even get angry about this sh*t anymore, just laugh and shake my head.
  10. We won't know how much of it is our players or our manager until someone else comes in, there were times under Robbie towards the end of his reign that we looked equally hopeless. I'd like to believe the players just can't take their own jobs seriously right now with the complete farce of a manager they're playing under, it will be a rude awakening if a new coach comes in next season and all the players (minus Mata) still don't give a rats ass.
  11. Everyone this season has been hilariously bad except United, who have actually also been hilariously bad, it's just they have a striker that scores everytime he touches the ball.
  12. It's ridiculous this even has to be done or considered, he's never had any problem prematurely ditching successful managers in the past, soon as we pick up the sh*ttest one it's like we can't get rid of him (like a bad smell).
  13. Starting to believe he can do it now.
  14. sure picked a good night for it
  15. Sad thing is that as soon as they scored the first goal I knew deep down this would happen, this team has no balls and no heart because the manager is such a f**king joke that they can't even take their jobs seriously anymore.
  16. A good shift by his recent standards? Probably. A good shift by the standards of a striker for one of the worlds top clubs? lol. Wasn't his fault we lost but let's not kid ourselves here, Ba starting we'd probably have walked through that game.
  17. I don't know whether to be happy that City/Spurs/Arsenal all drew their games, or to be frustrated that we just threw away a chance to get a lead on them. Just let Mata choose the team and the subs from now on, clearly he is the only one out there who has any clue what the f**k is going on.
  18. Can't even blame the manager entirely for this nonsense, why do we have a squad of superstars paid millions of pounds a year when only Juan of them bother to actually try and win.
  19. Only the waiter could mastermind us losing 2 goal leads against 2 of the worst teams in the division in the space of 3 weeks.
  20. How the hell is there 5 minutes? The inconsistency between injury time given when we're chasing and when we're holding on, jesus
  21. you've judged that off the 4 minutes he's spent on the pitch and 1 good pass?
  22. Spoiler alert below Spurs just drew 1-1 with Norwich
  23. Marin for Mata JT for Iva Benayoun for Frank
  24. Mata limping, god please no get him the f**k outta there
