World Shock: Daily Mail praising Terry
Can't really complain if that's the case, we should enjoy our day in the sun while it lasts until we're sent back to public opinion hell.

cardiff fan in peace
Don't really have anything against either club in general, although I think Ashley Williams and Pablo Hernandez are both little rats.

The Decline of Scottish Football
I'd say virtually all of that is relevant to how sh*te England has been as well. Although you'd have to add the point that even if we do produce a good player, he'll just be vilified and hated by the media and end up not giving a sh*t if he plays well or not.

Brentford v Chelsea (FA Cup) 27/01/13 KO 12:00 GMT
First time onto this topic since before the match, my opinions: - Cahill & Turnbull had probably their worst games in Chelsea shirts. - Frank needs a rest - JT still has a long way to go before he's ready to start big matches again, if he'd played against Arsenal like he played yesterday.. - Ramires as usual is good when we're trying to get possession and when we're building up the pitch, but soon as we get near the opposition box and it's congested, he's fairly useless - Bertrand has no business starting on the left wing against teams we're obviously better than who don't have a world class right winger + full back combo like Robben and Lahm. - Marin was the scapegoat for our bad performance in the first half and got removed for Mata, when he'd done more than Torres or Bertrand or even Frank in that half, again the FSW choosing not to give him game time and to sling him off after 45 minutes against a League 1 team will hurt his confidence. - Torres and Ba could actually work up front together if given the chance, unfortunately the manager only believes in straight substitutions. But really while theres no Hazard/Moses, we should be looking at this option with Mata and Marin on the wings and Ramires and Oscar in the midfield. - Who the f**k makes a straight swap for right backs with 10 minutes to go chasing a game when you have a striker and an attacking midfielder on the bench, especially when that right back can play CB and both CB's out there had been appalling, and just a minute earlier he'd nearly scored with an overhead kick.

I'd say if this doesn't do it, he'll be here until the end.

MOTM v Brentford
Oscar, Ramires and Mata only players out there today worthy of wearing the shirt. Defence was a complete shambles, Cahill looked like he'd never played on a non-perfect pitch before and misplaced just about every pass, and Turnbull put in probably the worst keeping performance i've ever seen by a Chelsea keeper.
-
Marko Marin
Marin looked decent for the first 10 minutes or so and was probably the most lively player on the pitch, then Brentford took control of the rest of the first half and he disappeared, which to be fair is something that Hazard and Oscar are just as guilty of when we're having a bad day. I was incredulous when he took off Marin instead of Bertrand at half-time, and purely seething when he did a straight right back swap in the 80th minute (all of a minute after Ivanovic had just nearly scored from an overhead kick), is he having a f**king laugh or what. But back onto the topic of Marin, I thought he started off brightly but that awful pitch did his style of play no favours, I hope he gets a start against Reading.

Eden v Ballboy
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-2269299/The-FA-hypocrites-Eden-Hazard-ball-boy-punishment--Martin-Samuel.html Martin Samuel has written a piece on the Swansea/Oxford hyprocrisy as well as some other good points, I like to think the people of this forum are at least party to thank for this.

Reading v Chelsea (PL) 30/1/13 KO 20:00 GMT
I also want to see Torres and Ba start up front together, particularly while we have no Hazard or Moses it makes sense to utilize them both, and in the 10 minutes they were on the pitch together yesterday Ba set up Torres for a goal. Could be a solution to a lot of problems.

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
QPR, Liverpool and Spurs all down to lower league teams, makes our painful performance against Brentford slightly more bearable.

Last few days, Who we getting in..
Probably Jordan Henderson for 40 mil.

Drogba to Galatasary
Imagine if we hadn't gone out in the group stage and had gotten drawn with Galatasaray, I wonder what sort of reaction he'd get at the Bridge if he scored against us.

Epic video on Chelsea's 09/10 PL Champions side
The last real ruthless Chelsea side, Lampard, Ballack, Essien, Drogba, Anelka, Malouda all at the peak of their powers. Was a privilege to watch them dismantle the entire league.

Where's your backbone, Chelsea?
That's actually quite hilarious that he did that to a United fan.

Where's your backbone, Chelsea?
If Rafa actually comes out and says something about this my respect for him would increase a lot. But this is a clear example of why we need someone like Jose or Guus or even Capello in the hotseat, none of them would take this sort of bullsh*t. I really can't understand why anyone would, if it was me I would be speaking my mind about a lot more than just this nonsense, I would have had a f**king field day over the Clattenburg incident and Ovrebo, in both cases ended up in only us getting punished. Chelsea fans will always be Chelsea fans and thats the only people the club need to worry about not offending, who gives a rats ass if you upset the FA, it's not like they could treat us any worse.

The FA want their pound of flesh again!
If someone at the club actually cares about standing up for ourselves, they should take the FA to the Court of Arbitration for Sport over this. I studied Sports Law last semester and this looks like it would fit into the jurisdiction of that court.
-
Eden v Ballboy
This has to get more exposure, if this response from the FA goes through the papers and gets national press coverage, surely the FA will have to take notice of it? Someone should email this to the major papers/sports writers.
-
Eden v Ballboy
If we're lucky we'll just get Clattenburg again. Although he might just send off all the ball boys for diving.
-
Eden v Ballboy
That would be wonderful, see how many Swansea players we can get sent off in a game. Or maybe the ref just won't be a complete f**kwit like Chris Foy and will eject the ball-boy from the game.

Eden v Ballboy
Home game against Swansea on the 27th of April If we take the lead i'll pay 50 quid to any ball-boy that takes the ball and runs off into the stands with it.

Eden v Ballboy
you f**king wot I really hope he appeals this and we can watch the FA attempt to explain themselves here

Who is steering our rudderless ship?
I've been wondering the same thing myself, it's looking increasingly like no-one actually knows.

Word from RDM!
I don't understand how Rafa could have become "one of the boys" considering he spent the majority of his time at Liverpool spouting rubbish about Roman and his club in the press.
