I think Ba for 7m would be a shred bit of business, if we then also pick up Falcao in the summer. Having Falcao/Torres/Ba would finally make our strike-force comparable to Aguero/Tevez/Dzeko/Balotelli and Rooney/RVP/Chicharito/Welbeck.

If Falcao won't come until summer, i'd rather we just got Lukaku back for the rest of the season than spend 10 million on some mediocre striker.

Another thing is that I assume Walcott would become our backup striker, although getting more game time than sturridge, but still I feel like we need a striker to displace Torres if we're going to challenge for the EPL/CL again.

Long can make something out of nothing and so can Lukaku if he comes on, if they keep it at 1-0 until late, considering that Vidic has very low match fitness right now, I wouldn't rule them out.

Not sure why he hasn't been given more opportunity, although Moses is off to ACON in January so that should give him more of a chance to prove himself? Doesn't make sense to me to sell him before hes been given a chance.

Considering that Mazacar are real possession players and it's likely we're going to be spending the majority of matches facing teams defending quite deep, it doesn't make much sense to me to invest in someone who's only real quality is a lot of pace. In a team where you're going to be playing on the counter most of the time obviously it would be very handy, but Walcott just doesn't seem like a fit to me, he's wasteful and we need someone who above all else, can finish what mazacar make for them.

This is one player we certainly don't need, if we end up buying him it would be nearly as stupid as United buying Lewandowski.

I would rather have Falcao or Cavani to be honest, he's not got the size to be a successful centre forward for us, when we have our little 3 players in behind him, having a small agile striker like Neymar in front of them would just be overkill in my opinion. You need to combine the guile and skill of Mazacar with a bigger striker like Lukaku or Falcao.

The majority of their threat will come down the left with Baines + Pienaar in front of him, so Dave better be prepared, and whoever is playing in front of him needs to do the dirty work and track back.

As an owner of an xbox 360 for a good 6 or so years now (my old one broke two years ago and I had to replace it with a new one), If i had the option of trading in all my current xbox games for ps3 games and swapping consoles, I would. a) Xbox Live is quite expensive considering you get virtually the same on PS3 for free b) Theres a lot of games exclusive to PS3 you can't get on xbox, the xbox exclusive games are mostly lame (depends on what you like though of course) c) Most people these days are buying PS3's now that they're virtually as cheap as an xbox, but if you're interesting in playing FIFA with some friends online, it would depend on what they have d) Graphics and general speed of the PS3 are supposed to be far superior. That being said i've never owned one and only played on it at my friends house, and a lot of people on that thread that own both seem to prefer the xbox, so maybe they'd have more valid opinions than me.
