  1. i agree that these are all major problems at the club. however with our very poor striking quality it was always going to be impossible to compete on any front. take the league we are 16 points behind man u, yet i feel its fair to say our keeper is better, defences are even and we have a stronger midfield in general. sorry to keep using man u as comparison but if you took individually one of these problems and gave it to man u which one would effect their league position most. i would suggest that with torres as their main striker they would at least 15 points worse off and seriously struggling with top 4.
  2. a question to those who still feel torres is not the main problem. what club in the premire league would torres be loan striker for week in week out based soely on perfomances since 2010/11?
  3. u miss the point. chelsea have failed this season no one can argue wiv that, out of cl,lc, 16 points off league and RDM sacked. the main cause of this is our lack of strikers. torres is clearly not good enough to be the main striker at any club that wants to challange for trophies. its not about working hard its about having the "quality" to play for a top side. he has not shown this quality at all and still wants to be the main man. i m sorry but working hard is not good enough at cfc if we want to be taken seriously. if torres was the only option for barca, real, man u,city, psg they too would find it impossible to succseed. nothing personal against torres but we must have better.
  4. true its their fault we have torres as our only option which is the biggest cause for our failures this season. no club in the world would win any top cup or league wiv him as the main man fact.
  5. but overal we just nick it. it goes to show how poor we are upfront! as we are 16 points behind
  6. are defending overal this season is bettter than man u
  7. we do not want extra time when we have city sunday!
  8. i wonder if Man u had torres as there only striking option would they be first in the league? where would we be if we had there strikers?
  9. How can we expect to win anything this season when our first choice striker torres. its funny coz there is at least one better striker in all other 19 clubs in the premiership.
  10. i agree draging players and making space is good play that goes un noticed
  11. remember when he declined penalty against leicester last year. perhaps corner has been turned? also today he seems for the first time in a while not to be running in treacle!
  12. if torres can get 2/3 goals tonight and 1or 2 at weekend he will have a ratio of 1 in 2 this season.
  13. if we do go through i think it really could fire us on to have a good season and if we win world cup we could really get much needed momentum.
  14. i think we will scrape through. its the same feeling i had when we played napoli last year. juve to lose 3-1

a good run will do us the world of good in keeping up our uefa ranking
  16. can u not see the simularities between this game and the wigan game for example. wigan had just as much domminace second half but failed to score through their fault not our credit. that result could have easily been as bad as this one. we have a much more deep rooted issue!
  17. i had felt that this bad spell was always going to happen ever since the start of the season (and even some pre season). from the beginning of this season we have ignored an underlying problem because it was covered by good fortune. think back to the these games psg(pre-season), man city (CS), Wigan, reading, Tottenham, juventus (h), shaktar (a) ,swansea, west brom. in all of these games we saw what happened today as soon as the pressure/intensity rises from the opposition we lose our shape and start to crumble. it was only good fortune, that came from scoring offside/ deflected goals(reading) or poor misses from opponents(esp wigan) that prevented our weakness from being highlighted like today. for example today if we had good fortune like in some early matches, west hams first goal might have been disallowed we might of scraped a win which would have continued in masking our weakness. So in reality i feel our early promising results to the season have been deceiving, and that this bad patch was only inevitable and not a result from recent managerial changes.
  18. i would like roman to do an interveiw and explain his/the clubs actions over the past week.
  19. A month ago i was thinking we could do the treble now a top 4 looks a challenge. all because roman cannot be controlled!
  20. iv said it before and ill say it again when you play 7 defenders and a spastic upfront at home against a mid table team that is prepared to camp you will not be able to break the skin off a rice pudding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
  21. worst managerial tactical perfromance since??????
  22. you can hear the smile on tony gales face when fulham get something
  23. iknow theres no choice wiv torres. but when that is the case how can rafa justify playing 3 very devensive midfilders and a out of form striker. looks like we are praying for a set piece
