  1. I think we will win this 1-0 ... hopefully going the same way as the Liverpool semi home return leg ...
  2. 1-1 is my prediction here ... no easy games ... of course, a win is vital but just not feeling it ... hope I'm wrong.
  3. Obviously, putting yesterday aside ... but Chelsea now have just three wins in their last eight ... and Liverpool away, Man City home, PSG away we were pretty much over-run and were fortunate for the draw ... the Everton last minute winner was also fortunate, tbh.
  4. Since Swansea away we haven't looked convincing, at all ... and have stumbled along ... if we hadn't got the rub of the green in a few games the true picture would look decidedly worse ... the Team has taken a collective dip ... maybe burn out is a factor, not sure tbh ...
  5. Watched MOTD highlights and it was refreshing to see the pundits backing Jose 100% ... however (yet again) the distinct lack of direct goal mouth action in an opponents penalty box was very telling ...
  6. Really disappointing result today ... since Swansea away we have been stuttering ... and yes, it does feel as if all the refs are ganging up on us, probably due to Jose's honest comments which we all support ...
  7. Need a convincing win ... no easy game, of course ... 3-0 hopefully ...
  8. I went to loads of home games late 70s, 80s and was always very disappointed with the turnouts from virtually all the Midland Clubs ... considering the numbers, at times we took to them their non-existent return turnouts at Stamford Bridge bordered on the pathetic. WEST BROM ... WOLVES ... BIRMINGHAM ... LEICESTER ... DERBY ... ASTON VILLA ... COVENTRY ... hang your heads in shame !!! From memory, the only Midlands Club that actually brought a few down were FOREST, during the Brian Clough years. However, insignificant numbers compared to what we took to them. One of the very best turn-outs at the Bridge were ARSENAL after they won the FA Cup ... our fixture was still outstanding. They absolutely packed the North Stand with a celebration of Wembley banners, etc. ... amazing, electric atmosphere in the Shed that day ... one of the very best ever !!!
  9. Have to agree. Mikel & Rambo are not ideal. Rambo keeps losing the ball in compromising positions & for such a big fella' Mikel has little presence and rarely boss's the midfield. Upgrade long overdue IMHO ...
  10. Just been charged by the fa possible 3 match ban
  11. Our best half season for many years has co-incided with Rambo's long absence ... Personally, I don't think this is a co-incidence. The Team's more disjointed when he's playing IMHO ... I accept he has the occasional outstanding game ... occasional ...
  12. RAWK = comedy gold. Reading it makes this victory so much sweeter ... 😄😄😉 Here's some posts from RAWK ... "RedCafe w**kers can go and overdose on some crack whilst f**king their own grandmothers, at least we didn't lose to MK Dons of all teams, you inbred nonces. Hope Chelsea get smashed in the final" "Plastic flag waving, scouse cock loving, sh*tcoat wearing, classless c***s just fed up. Not with our lads because we were solid and competed well. I am fed up because I am sick of seeing that vile twat of a club get undeserved success. I'm I am fed up because they can get away with stamping and not a word said. I am fed up because that utter prick Mourinho with this amazingly punchable face has the chance to win another trophy; playing negative sh*te despite the riches he has at his disposal" "Plastic flag waving, scouse cock loving, sh*tcoat wearing, classless c***s" Hehe ... 😆😋✌ï¸
  13. Still not convinced tbh ... The occasional brilliance but mostly gives the ball away, often in compromising positions ... upgrade long overdue for me.
  14. Immense tonight ...
  15. Hope Ivory Coast beat Cameroon ... otherwise City may be back to full strength, inc. Bony ??? 1-1 draw methinks.
  16. Following two of our worst performances of the season, thus far ... (I thought we were very fortunate away to Liverpool in the first leg, tbh) I think City may be a score draw, at the weekend. Liverpool ... hmmm, no idea ???
  17. I think u may well be right ... If Jose was reluctant to squad rotate before ... hmmm ... However, I'd now expect a few more dramatic, style collapses to come due to burn out of the same eleven players 😕 Ideally, I'd like us to strengthen the squad during this window. Much easier said than done, of course ...
  18. Just beginning to sink in ... another complete collapse ... Jose must take some responsibility because squad rotation has been extremely minimal, to say the least. Therefore, squad players maybe lack match fittness, sharpness, motivation, etc. Will the manor of this defeat also now raise expectations for visiting teams to Stamford Bridge ...
  19. We got destroyed at Spurs, escaped a deserved hiding at Liverpool away and now this ... hmmm ... in a short period too ... worrying times ahead ???
  20. Spurs away all over again ... except this time we got lucky ... a tired looking Team ... does Jose trust our squad so little that he is only prepared to play week in, week out virtually the same identical Team? ... If so, this highlights how thin our squad really is? Plus, we may eventually burn out completely during a long season ...
  21. Team looked knackered again ... Overrun, at times ... I thought we desperately needed fresh legs mid 2nd half ... what's the point in having subs if they are not going to be used, except right at the death ???
  22. Rambo & Salah (subs) highlight our thin squad depth ... neither would turn this game around ... We can't keep relying on the same starting 11 for the entire second half of the season. If we do, I fear our season may implode due to burn out ??? We need better than Rambo, Salah, Mikel & Shirley on the bench ...
  23. CFC: Southampton away Spurs away City: Burnley home Sunderland home If we still come out of the next two fixtures on top then fair play to the Blues ... exciting times for sure
