Chelsea vs. Swansea (PL) 08/08/15 KO 17:30 BST
Jose to play exactly the same 11 as most of last year, if all fully fit despite Moses clearly earning a starting 11 line-up place. Some are suggesting we have more strength in depth than last year? Just can't see it myself ... A much closer match than last year. 2-1 win for me ... which would be brill.

Is it too early to be depressed that we won't sign a starter?
And we have brought in 3 players. Baba, RLC and Traore. However, Jose's track record suggests these youngsters will barely get a look in ? Jose would prefer an unconvincing Rambo, etc. every time...

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
He mimics Mikel in that he's looking for the simplest pass too often ... Needs to be more ambitious ... Mikel wouldn't be a player that I'd model my game on. I really hope he makes it. He certainly has the attributes if he steps up.

Spot on ... !

The John Obi Mikel Goal Scoring Thread
Bang average player who's upgrade is long overdue. When he eventually leaves Chelsea there will be very little interest, if any from any other Prem club... which tells u all u need to know ...

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Plays a similar game to Mikel ... keeps it too simple ...

Is it too early to be depressed that we won't sign a starter?
I think so far our vulnerable squad depth hasn't been addressed, at all? We have had a few like 4 like replacements and are arguably slightly weaker as a result? The 2 x Columbians may well have their own Groundhog Day thread just weeks into the season? I think it's Jose's wounded pride, not wanting to admit to a poor transfer mistake, that is giving Cuadrado another underserved, second chance IMHO. Upgrading the likes of Rambo & Mikel are long, long overdue. Stones would definitely give us a lift, should he come ... hopefully? However, it's been a bit underwhelming so far, methinks ... The Mancs & Liverpool are definitely going for it. AW's usual lack of transfer activity continues to hold the Gooner's back. Although PC acquisition should help close the gap. I think we are still slightly ahead, as favourites but only just ... we could make it easier for ourselves by addressing just a little of the above ...

Squad composition heading into 2015/2016 - good enough?
Squad depth was our problem last year ... not convinced it's been addressed, so far ... The two Columbians may well both be passengers... neither fill me with confidence, tbh ... Rambo blows hot and cold ... Mikel, upgrade long overdue ... It will be much closer this time around ... Stones would be the first truly positive addition, if we get him?

Next season's home kit?
I wish we could dump Adidas so we could get rid of those horrendous white shoulder "go faster" stripes and return to just the very classy all blue top without the bell and whistles ...

Is it too early to be depressed that we won't sign a starter?
Hopefully, we are proved wrong but so far it seems we are content to sit on our laurels, so to speak ... adding and "playing" promising youngsters is just not Jose's style ... Therefore, it's looking like a possible thin squad, once again? Personally, a couple of quality signings to improve the likes of Mikel and Cuadrado would be ideal ...

Is it too early to be depressed that we won't sign a starter?
Not much progress, so far with increasing squad strength in depth ... Brown and Andreas loaned out, etc. Still have the German Messi (NOT) to bring back

Radamel "the project" Falcao
Is anyone actually looking forward to this loan being announced ??? First Cuadrado, now this ... FFS Jose we can definitely do better than these two ...
-
Petr Cech to Arsenal
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/brian-reade-column-petr-cech-5983300 Good article ... may well cause another rift between Roman and Jose if this backfires as the season concludes?

Cuadrado - Chelsea's #23
Jose, u have made a massive mistake ... It's bloody obvious for all to see ... swallow your pride and get rid of at the earliest opportunity ...
-
Petr Cech to Arsenal
Very honourable ... but utter shambles none the less ... potential huge own goal ... Hence, our shocking transfer window Part 1 begins ... just looking forward to the lame Columbian duck joining us now ... hmmm.

Spot on ... brilliant Video ...

Cuadrado - Chelsea's #23
100% spot on ... plus letting Cech join Arsenal ... 3 x consecutive poor transfer decisions beggars belief ...

Radamel "the project" Falcao
100% agree ...

Radamel "the project" Falcao
Jose signings, surely ??? ... the previous policy under Michael emenalo has noticeably changed since JM's arrival.
-
Petr Cech to Arsenal
From Cech's point of view totally understandable. From our point of view probably the worst scenario? So far our recent transfer highlights, as follows: We have purchased, not one but two very questionable Columbians; we have almost certainly lost our 'world class' goalkeeper to one of our closest & most bitter rivals; and we may soon lose Remy too ... who surely must be better than Falcao ... hmmm.
-
Radamel "the project" Falcao
Was shocking for Man Utd last year ... as Torrid was before he joined us. And maybe the catalyst for Remy leaving too? Dear oh dear, surely we should have learnt from past experiences. The whole football world is stratching their heads this morning. If this fails spectacularly will immediately put Jose on the defensive ...
-
Raheem Sterling in?
God I hope not ... over-rated ...
-
Chelsea in for Falcao?
Really hope not ... Jose, that's two piss poor signings in a row ... Cuadrado & now this one ...
-
Cuadrado - Chelsea's #23
A mistake buy, and expensive one at that ... surely we have someone better in our loan army, etc?

Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
As I said, great player but if he's going to war every single game he's a disaster waiting to happen and a defenders dream to wind up ...
