  1. Should be our 2nd choice striker ... full stop. Piss poor judgement by Jose.
  2. 2-1 win ... by the skin of our teeth. Match full of controversy... due to sh*te refereeing... Costa gets sent off. Bran starts the match, despite his continued poor form because he is and will always be a Jose untouchable ... Therefore, Baba on the bench.
  3. DEFENSE ... We need to get back to basics and have a natural left back and right back playing together. It's bloody obvious for all to see! Unfortunately, Ivan is a Jose untouchable. Fab is also a Jose untouchable ... Plus, Jose has laid his cards on the table. Clearly Falcao is the 2nd choice striker over Remy. Poor judgement IMHO.
  4. Alternatively, Ivan's a Jose untouchable. Therefore, we continue with the unsatisfactory status quo?

50 million + Cuadrado + Rambo + Mikel for Pog's ... if accepted, I think a few on here would die and go to heaven, lol
  6. This signing has given us all a massive lift ...

He's 28 and just 5 ft 6 inches tall in a very physically demanding PL. This signing has 'definitely' given us all a much needed lift. Personally, I'm quite excited about it ... but of course, there are no guarantees.

A slight concern is as follows: Following the 30m bid ... If Stones does show any public indication of wanting to leave we may then be gazump'd by Utd? And our painfully slow, drawn out bidding process method may look foolish? Personally, think we should have stepped up the pressure within just a few weeks. Just my opinion.
  9. Quite a bit of negativity on another Blues forum. I think I can understand why ... I think a few are beginning to lose faith with Jose, reading between the lines? Here's some quotes ... "Welcome Baba. I'm really excited to see him play" Reply = "Don't hold your breath" "Azpi on the bench, Baba at LB and Ivan stays at RB. You heard it here first" "Baba to make ~13 appearances off the bench this season playing left wing" "That's my fear too. Simply can't get excited over signings like this anymore, call it Salah Syndrome or Cuadradolitis, but we've simply seen too many players come in and then barely contribute before being shipped out at the earliest opportunity. Let's hope Baba makes an impact (or is given opportunity to make an impact) but I'm not holding my breath"

Exactly, and the WHOLE WORLD knew that 30m would be rejected. What a strange way of doing business ???
  11. Jose completely f**ked up on this signing ... I suspect it was his choice? He shouldn't be anywhere near the first team ... It has been clear for all to see. Dropping an in-form Moses for a complete waste of space doesn't sit well with me ... Jose FFS ... how obvious does it have to be?
  12. I think we will lose 2-1. And Jose will play an almost identical line up ... which is the reason why.
  13. Some of us predicted this spanking and we have been 100% proved right ... If we can see it why can't Jose? Jose's line up is so predicable with ''zero'' competition for places. Player complacency has definitely set in ... Moses shines in pre-season and doesn't even make the bench ... Piss poor and totally predictable.
  14. Cuadrado coming on highlights our complete lack of strength in depth ... Cuadrado chosen ahead of Moses too? ... 2 x poor decisions by Jose 2day.
  15. The female of the species is deadlier than the male ... don't forget folks, lol ! An attractive, cutie may well topple the greatest Manager we have ever had? Be careful what u wish 4 ... Jokingly aside ... I suspect this has been building for quite some time and came to a head, be it in an unacceptable way, Saturday? ... which now puts Eva in a position of strength ... Jose may well not fancy a woman doctor in the male dressing room and he is perfectly entitled to that opinion, if true? Sod political correctness, it's no difference than u or I choosing the sex of doctor we want to see at our local surgery.
  16. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3196584/Watch-expletive-laden-exchange-Jose-Mourinho-Eva-Carneiro.html This media frenzy has become ridiculous ...
  17. cfcblue replied to Gem's topic in Chelsea FC Rumours
He's not for sale and we need to move on. If we were 'really serious' about him we wouldn't be taking week breaks between bids ... seems an odd way to do business if u ask me. We know it would take a ridiculous bid to get him ... common knowledge to all. Another 30 million bid is a complete waste of time ...
  18. The main reason this is generating so much worldwide press interest is because Eva's a very attractive looking lady ... full stop. It's bordering on the hysterical now ... Jose and Eva both going public have backfired on themselves big time! Regarding the game ... Jose has put himself under pressure by sticking with the exact same 11 players as last season, effectively ruling out competition for places. The first eleven become complacent and hence, we are bossed by Swansea. On current form one could argue Moses deserved his chance but this was never going to happen.
  19. I think we will get soundly beaten ... Which should bring home that sitting on our laurels in the transfer market was the wrong thing to do.
  20. If true, I think Jose has taken out his frustrations on the wrong person. Swansea were easily holding their own against us & Jose's frustrations boiled over. Jose needs to look closer to home for the reasons why ...
  21. Swansea totally deserved a point, arguably even more ... Big positive ... our new goalie looks superb !!! Fingers crossed, I do hope Jose stops showing complete favouritism towards his preferred 11 every time, despite performances ... I feel we won't get away with it this time around ...
  22. Total waste of money, should have been shifted, if at all possible ... I think Jose was trying to save face by keeping him but now realises he is a lost cause.
  23. There's good posts above. A good indication is how well have the youth kids done since leaving Chelsea? Very few, if any are playing for top Teams ... there's your answer. Personally, and esp. under Jose I think it may probably be best to just close down every youth set up, saving a small fortune in the process and just concentrating purely on buying in success for the first team only ... continuing the current status quo.
  24. The team picks itself ... exactly the same as last year ... injuries dependant. Perhaps, a little too predictable for me ... I think the season ahead will be similar to the last part of last season (most games extremely tight) rather than the comfortable beginning part? However, will we get the rub of the green this time? ... looking forward to finally getting underway and finding out.
