The Oscar thread
They look like twins as well. I mean, I know footballers get plenty of ass, but, two sisters!, much respect to Oscar!!

We need to ponder our next managerial appointment very carefully...
Does anyone think Harry Redknapp would be a good choice?

Random Rumours
Bayern Munich forward, Gomez is now a target for Chelsea. Is he any good?
-
Falcao to Chelsea?
I like Falcao, and really hope he comes to Chelsea, but I worry that he will come for the wrong reasons, i.e. money.

Jose Mourinho - A person without fear.
Be great if he had Twitter....

Lukaku - Play or Loan?
But if we're planning to buy another striker, then where is he going to fit in after his spell at west brom? We've been linked to that Celta Vigo striker, as well as Cavani, Falcao, Villa, Higuain, and the list goes on!

Lukaku - Play or Loan?
There is no need for him to say he doesn't care. I'm sure he's watching us at the moment, he'd be lying if he said otherwise. At the end of the day, we're his club. I just hope he doesn't feel resentment towards us for not playing him from the start.

Lukaku - Play or Loan?
"I don't care what Chelsea are doing at the moment" What an ungrateful sh*t! Says he wants to stay at West Brom, but do you think he's being ungrateful with that comment? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2261823/Romelu-Lukaku-wants-stay-West-Brom.html

Why are we better away?
If people don't think the atmosphere at home is affecting the team, then read this. It is what Cristiano Ronaldo said in the press about the fans not getting behind Mourinho at Real Madrid. "I have to ask that they stop this now," Ronaldo told reporters after their 5-2 aggregate victory set up a Cup quarter-final with Valencia. "The boss is going to stay, we still have a lot we can win this year. He is in charge and he takes the decisions, the fans and the players should help him. "People have shown they are unhappy but that's enough now. They have to get behind the boss and the team. It affects the players out on the pitch. If we win the Cup and the Champions League it will have been a good year."

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
Who are you guys going to root for next week, in the match between Spurs and Man Utd? If Spurs win, they're up our asses, but then if Spurs lose, Man Utd increase the gap. I doubt it will be a draw.

2-0 Man City. We've got Arsenal @ home next week, better beat them! Considering our home form, it's a little worrying.
-
Following our nearest and dearest rivals
Can't rely on Arsenal or Liverpool to do us a favour, so 3rd place it is.

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
Is it only 1st and 2nd place that get automatic entry to the Champion's League? I can't even remember. Edit: Never mind - was struggling to find out. Thought it was just 1st and 2nd place that qualify automatically, not sure why I thought that

Van Persie wins it again for Utd...f**king jammie f**ks.

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
If Liverpool snatch it from Utd, then Utd will know what it feels like when they do it to other teams in the dying minutes.

2 more goals for Sturridge...Go on, Daniel, you can do it!

GO ON, STURRIDGE!!

Man Utd definitely made a great choice in signing RVP. Bit like how Falcao has helped Atletico Madrid this season or Lukaku has helped West Brom.

The Rafa Benitez Thread (merged)
Okay, so in a hypothetical scenario, say we won the aforementioned cups this season and finished either 2nd or 3rd in the league, would you still want Benitez out?

Roman to offload up to 10 players at the end of the season
I do think people misunderstand how astute Abramovic is. Who knows for sure that behind the scenes he isn't trying to sort something out with Lamps and Cole. It's stupid to assume that they won't sign because of what the press say. At the end of the day, there are still around 5 months left until the end of the season, and Roman is still on holiday, so we might hopefully hear some news about them in the next few weeks.

Also, Daily Mail reports that Athletico Madrid are keen on taking Torres on loan.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2261617/Atletico-Madrid-keen-signing-Fernando-Torres.html

Protest
Why not express admiration for Roman, by putting a banner up saying "We respect you Roman, but please bring Mourinho back!" Or something along those lines, or "Please, Roman - Sign up Lamps and Cole" I am sure there are other ways of getting concerns across to the hierarchy. Letters? Calling the office directly? Emails? No one wants any protest to bring the confidence down in the team. Even Alan Shearer said that this lack of support at home seems to have an affect on the players. Not sure why people can't understand this. Ronaldo came out and said the same thing regarding the Madrid fans treatment towards Mourinho and the affect it has on the team as a whole.
