clubhappy
After yesterdays result i decided myself and my young lad should take a trip to Chelsea for the final . I realise we wont get tickets for the game so the next best thing would be to be at Chelsea for the day , make it special instead of hanging around Dublin full of Mancs and Scousers , be with Chelsea fans , havin a few beers , in good company and generallay enjoying a a cup final day in London in May on a spring day. Seriously, nothing would be better . Then i log onto Aer Lingus , looking for a cheap flight over a month in advance . Get ready for a shock Ian , heres the best they can do , fly from Dublin @ 6.40 Sat 30th May , return Sunday 2.40pm . Total..............€345. I was thinking they anticipated a Man Yooo surge for flights but its still the same tonight. I got 2 flights in Jan for less than €150 . Idea has gone tits up . loz
You can get STenna Line to Hoilyhead for £80 return for the pair of you but haven't had time to check out train prices or connection times as I need to run to work - possible option though. bjd
AldiAir will definitley be cheaper mate but like you say there is no doubt the prices were hiked at the though of Utd getting there. I doubt they will come down too much now. Be great if you made it over, be good to see you guys again.
geezer
Just checked Ryan Air and if you're prepared to travel over on Friday instead of Saturday then travel back on Sunday you can get it for around £130 all in. Add on £70 or so for a hotel for Friday and your still quids in on the Aer Lingus deal.
goose
Clubhappy, check out the flights from Belfast with Ryanair. From Belfast City to stansted departure 30th and return 1st £82. Aer lingus from Belfast Inter to Heathrow £106 from30th to 1st. Easyjet fly to Gatwich but they seem to be more expensive at the moment. IrishBlue
Thinking about heading over for Champs league final if we make it! Hope the prices aren't like that! I feel your pain, nowhere for Chelsea fans to watch a big game with fellow supporters in Dublin! Stayed at home for last years final, but i think it would be amazing to experience the real atmosphere for a cup final rather than watching it at home with my dad! Will be in the Matthew harding stand for the Fulham game, can't wait! Were going to Rome.... were going to Rome...f**k your history
Valerie
I'm considering flying over for the FA Cup final as well, but I thibk I will have to take a deep breath before I check the Easyjet prices: it's also Whitsun weekend, and a lot of people may want to have a long weekend away...
