Posted May 16, 200916 yr .... to the game tomorrow. It's his last home game and we all need to make Guus clearly aware of how much we appreciate what he has done for our club. As a season ticket holder I have been there for most of his brief tenure and I know all Chelsea fans realise where we were before his arrival and what he has done for us in such a short space of time. I'm not saying he is perfect, he isn't, but then no manager ever can be. But he has earned the respect of every Chelsea fan and tomorrow is our chance to pay our respects and voice our thanks. Because it's not been made clear thus far at home games. "One Guus Hiddink" should ring round that ground for the whole 90 minutes. And just as importantly, as fans, we can also have a big say in who gets the job next. Just as we made it clear we wouldn't tolerate George Graham, so too can we influence Roman, Buck and Kenyon tomorrow by; "You can stick Ancelotti up your arse, you can stick Ancelotti up your arse"
May 17, 200916 yr Would love to be there and i hope Just gets the reaction he and the rest of us hope for. Every Chelsea fan there tomorrow should make it their business to let the man know how much we appreciate his remarkable job of picking up the pieces and rescuing our season. We cant be there but our front room will be a sea of blue for our last home game and Mr Hiddink will be applauded from start to finish.
May 17, 200916 yr Im going today and whilst i am a singer ive never been one to start songs (because of 'the fear'!!!) but today i am going to. Because i simply feel i have too. i am honestly going to try and get "You can stick Ancelotti up your arse, you can stick Ancelotti up your arse" sung constantly - I feel that strongly about it i really do, its so important we let them know. It worked once with Graham and it could work again. If the powers that be dont listen then maybe he will and stay in Italy realising he isnt wanted. Regarding Guus, he will certainly get my thanks but ive just got a niggling feeling it wont be the last we see of him at The Bridge. His Russian contract is only up untill the World Cup right ? May 17, 200916 yr I'm in. Don't know if I'll be able to get my mum to sing the Ancelotti one though :D Work at it, ES, work at it
May 17, 200916 yr Well done to the fans that went today. I think Guus and Roman were shocked by the degree of fan appreciation today.
May 18, 200916 yr Top marks, even Guus got up and "bowed" to the crowd. Love that it went from the Guus Hiddink song to "Roman, sort it out, Roman, Roman sort it out!" Unfortunately I think if Roman wants to keep Putin on his good side, and not get into the turmoil of Russian politics in relation to their Football Squad, then I think his hands are tied Scott

May 18, 200916 yr Pretty sure it was "Roman, Roman, sign him up, Roman, sign him up ! It was barely audible on MOTD
May 18, 200916 yr It was barely audible on MOTD :( S'ok, was loud and clear on Sky Sports....they talked about the singing for a good few minutes. Good stuff all who were there, hopefully it'll be the same next Sunday.
May 18, 200916 yr The chanting yesterday was some of the loudest I've heard all season. It sounded like every fan in the place was yelling. Unfortunately I couldn't make out what they were saying most of the time. I heard "Roman sort it out" and "Theres only one Guus Hiddink". Edited May 18, 200916 yr by blueday3
May 19, 200916 yr The chanting yesterday was some of the loudest I've heard all season. It sounded like every fan in the place was yelling. I second that. Never ended up the game but was watching it on Sky Sports and was loving the fans. Well done guys!
