Can't get a ticket but want to be amongst the Wembley atmosphere- which is the best pub? Wetherspoons again? - I guess Everton have Silverspoons?

The Globe (Baker Street) will be really rocking ! It was fantastic there for the semi.

The Green Man near Wembley will also be great.

if you were lucky enough to get a ticket, well done!

But if not, where did you go?

Good Atmosphere and Celebrations?

p.s didnt know quite where to post, so if its not right sorry ::clap2:: x

tried everywhere for a ticket, but couldnt get hold of one, was offered one for £750, but i couldnt afford it and live over the summer (wife would have killed me before i died of starvation)

we had a family day, we all got our chelsea shirts on, got plenty of beer and our flags out, and sent postitive vibes down to wembley

Was at the Globe in Baker Street at 10.30 and at 13.00 got a call from a mate in the Green man in wembley to say he had got me a ticket at face value £58.00 what a result.

Great day and great celebrations after.

You lucky so and so! I travelled down to Wembley in the morning, from Corby, and went for a toddle, didnt get no atmosphere thougha nd no chance of a ticket! So we went down to SW6 and spent the day in the SO bar. Amaazing atmosphere and crazy celebrations!!

Amazing day had by all i think!

I watched it at my mate's house, but as the only Chelsea fan there, my cheers and shouts were horribly isolated.

I love it when that happens. You're the happiest person in the room it's brilliant >.<

Can't compare to being around Chelsea fans though ::clap2::

I know, it was awesome, but the lack of singing is always disappointing.

Had a one man party in the house watching the game on pc - no terrestrial coveraqge in Scotland and all the pubs I can go to were screening the Scottish cup final - the ones I can't go to were probably watching the shopping channel or the fishing channel - he he

Was in North Wales listening to it on radio 5 live, Everton fans everywhere up there, the only Chelsea shirt I saw all day was the one i was wearing, I was also wearing a huge f**k off, smug smile.

Fair point it is. But oh it's worth it just for the evils you get while you're beaming away :o

When you say 'beaming' do you mean shouting:

"HOLY SHIIIT!

WHAT A f**kING -SCREAMER-!

f**k YES - THAT MAN FRANKIE LAMPS

STEVIE WHO?

STEVIE WHO?"

I finished work at midnight (kick off time down here) and ran to the nearest pub, a typical Sydney drinking establishment being 4 huge floors full of young people drinking vast amounts of inferior quality beverages whilst dancing around to rubbish music and occasionally having a fight or being sick. The main entrance was blocked by security guards ejecting a couple of huge Maoris who then proceeded to fight with the 3 police officers waiting outside to greet them and escort them to their newly acquired accommodation. I stepped over the bodies and managed to squeeze inside to see that we were already 1 nil down. Fark. Got some ale in and found myself a bench seat in the corner in front of a screen nobody else was watching. Was thoroughly enjoying the game, but kept getting buffeted about by various teenagers jumping all over each other next to me. They also kept insisting on standing right in front of me, oblivious to the fact I was watching a rather important match. I kept asking them to move but they were so drunk they seemed not to notice so I had to actually gently push them out of the way all of the time. One particularly conscientious young lad managed to recognise my plight and every now and then would help clear some space and usher his mates away, shouting 'oi, he's watching the footie!'. Drogba scored, fantastic. Got another drink in, but found most of the seating space occupied with bodies when I returned. Made myself some room and got back into the game. Some bloke behind me had his arm half round my shoulder, then the guy next to me decided to have a lie down with his head in my lap. I politely asked if they would both mind getting the f**k off me, one piped up with 'what's the matter maaaaaaate, aren't you comfortable with your sexuality?'. Half time, needed another drink and went outside for a smoke. Tense second half, really excited then Lampard scores and I was charging round the place celebrating and shouting. Settle back down and one of the adjacent teenagers puts his arm round me and says, 'so are we winning?' , I confirm this and he says 'who are we then, Manchester?'. If I wasn't in such a good mood I might have been inclined to kill someone. Last ten minutes approach and still a bit nervy when the channel suddenly changes and some sort of rugby game is on. Lose my cool, charge over to the bar, scare the sh*t out of the guy standing with remote still in hand and fortunately manage to persuade him that it would be best of he put the 'soccer' back on for a bit since it was nearly finished. Made it home by 3.30am then had my son jumping on my bed and driving toy trucks over me 3 hours later. The joys of watching football down under, wouldn't have missed it for the world though.

Geezer , your a bleedin show off .

Because i had to work last night , drink was off the menu so it was front room, pizza and the room decked out in Chelsea this and Chelsea that. We all had our jerseys on [so proud ] and it was how Cup Final day should be when were there , especially as a huge yellow thing in the sky showed up , we didnt know what it was as we hadnt seen it in ages and we'd forgotton , but it gave off this very warm amount of heat so we immediately knew it was there to shine on Chelsea. 23 seconds into the game wife walks out of room [ they get a 2nd and were in trouble] . Up steps Drogs , panic over , I knew then it was ours , wife returns .

I was very disappointed i couldn't celebrate properly , with work looming it was a huge a case of waiting until Monday so its bank holiday here and tomorrow were thinking of taking over the city , all 4 of us and demanding the rest of the week should be dedicated to Guus Hiddink with a statue erected on O'Connell Street . We are also issuing demands that include every journalist be lowered into the Liffey , Liam Brady and John Aldridge be publicly tortured and the colour red be deemed illegal. Any media coverage of Liverpool & Man Yoo be outlawed and Chelsea TV replaces RTE with immediate effect . Our final demand will be issued courtesy of The official Celtic supporters club who will admit to starting band wagon jumping and finally come to terms that Celtic FC are not Irish .

Wish us luck ok.

Gate N, row 23. Right in line with the goal. I can symapthise with the lino not giving Malouda's thunderbolt, as I immediately thought it hadn't crossed the line, even though, clearly, it did.

Great atmos, quiet Everton fans.

Gate P .. almoat half way line.. row 3 seat 71 !!!

IT was near the Everton fans but I was among the 250 extra tickets... and the amount of Everton fans in around me was horrible.. some got ejected towards the end of the first half ! .. wha the hell were they doing there. I mention to the police, but they didnt even bother to tcheck their tickets or anything ! .. discrace I know loads of loyal Chelsea fans who would have given anyhting for that seat !

Apart from that.. I didnt think the atmos was all that special to be honest :-( .. it was okay.. but Everton, up until Drogs goal were much better.

Tim, Geez - were you near the 2 Everton fans that got told to f**k right off when they stood up for the sicknote Saha goal - hounded out after 1 minute - poor scousers

I was behind the right goal post right at the back of the lower tier - banging that metal ceiling like a maniac

Gate J row 33 seat 3. Cracking view right behind the goal.

Wish we'd known Geezer - me and Coombsie were J - row 42 - seats 95 & 96. We were in the row behind David Baddiel and his brother (seemed liked decent blokes - well they are Chelsea after all).

Thought atmosphere was okay. The thing with Everton is that when they sung, it appeared to be "on mass" and the whole end sung together, whereas with us it seemed to be pockets here and there but got better as the game went on.

Can't say I did see that no. I wouldn't have minded the person behind me getting ejected after one minute cos my programme wouldn't have got soaked in lemonade when they spilt their drink under the seat. Cretin!
