I will be at the match and will post match photos. Here is a picture of the actual sculpture we will be presenting your boys. It is called the "Emerlad Spire" and was commission by our club and is to be given to clubs who come and visit us on international friendlies. The Blues are getting the first one. post-4293-1247842860_thumb.jpg

Heading over to Seattle tonight. Very nice sentiment to see the Sounders present Chelsea with this memento. The Sounders are really taking off, continually selling out their games, so I expect this to be a good one

I'll be taking pictures for sure, so keep an eye out!

Delighted you're getting to see the lads playing again Scott. Enjoy the game mate

Cheers Gary, it's not quite the same as meeting up with the likes of yourself, Mike O, Blakie, and whatever other reprebates were around the few times I made it through...but it'll have to do...and no mad men servig us Curry after the game

Ah yes, the good old curry with a fair amount of sing song to accompany it and mostly from the mad man serving curry if I remember rightly.

Yip, "Top Bar, give us a song...." The night after we beat Charlton, Maka scored from a penalty, and the lads were presented with the first Premiership trophy. Great night

I vaguely remember it ;) And I defintely remember getting back to the hotel with Stacy and my missus only to find they'd given our room away!! I told Stace and the missus to go outside whilst I had a 'chat' with the receptionist. We ended up being booked into a 5 star hotel in Knightsbridge at no extra charge :D

I went to today's late training session from Qwest Field. The team looked pretty strong. As someone that LOVES the Sounders, the ball control, footwork and first steps seem much faster than SFC. If you watch the game, keep an eye on the pitch. I don't know how well the newly laid sod will hold up. A few decent divots showed up during practice. LOVE Cech's headgear. His reaction-times are amazing. Alex, Lampard, Cole and Anelka are going to give us fits. Atmosphere will be electric. 67,000 in that stadium will be deafening.

Just got back from the open training session/fan fest. It was a fairly decent turnout for 5 o'clock on a workday, with little advance publicity. Lots of Chelsea fans, lots of fit birds looking like Cheryl Cole doppelgangers. :) They gave away loads of free swag like scarves, shirts, and miniballs.

Everybody looked a bit rusty to me. Oh, Sheva is completely terrible now, can't even shoot on target in a practice situation. He was the most noticeable because of his awful haircut.

Lineups for the scrimmage were: Cech, Bos, Alex, JT, Ashley, Frank, Deco, Ballack, Drogba, Malouda, Anelka for the A squad

Turnbull (i think), Belletti, Ivanovic (I think), Carvalho, Mancienne, Essien, Obi, ?, ?, Sheva, Kalou for the B squad.

JT looked like he was staying to me. He was leading the team through warmups, playing committed defense with Alex in the first team squad, and was the first to applaud the fans as the team left. And Lamps LOOKED STRAIGHT AT ME OMG OMG OMG. :P

Drogba and Kalou were the only guys to come over and sign autographs, so they get extra awesome points.

Is Zhirkov not going to be there for today's game? I know he's flying out to meet up with them, but will he be there for tonight?

I really want to see him play before the league starts, but I'm going on holiday on Tuesday so I'll probably miss all the other games, unless their shown somewhere over there.

I heard something about the African players will only play a bit part for today's game, not sure why though. Did they come back later?
