you're in a chelsea forum. who the f*ck cares...

Its in the wrong subforum, but I dont think we have to react like that.

I think Ronaldo is going to have his way with La Liga. I dont know if he will have a better year than Messi, or be more important, but I think he will certainly outscore him.

I suspect Ronaldo will continue what he usually does, perform consistently in all games bar the big ones when he will disappear. Meanwhile Messi's form will oscillate in most games but will turn it on in the high profile matches.

I think that once Ronaldo has got used to not being the sole focal point of the team he will go on to score sh*tloads of goals and pick up all the plaudits. Messi on the other hand will have to adjust to playing with Zlatan and I think he may well have a quieter season as a consequence, also he'll certainly have one eye on the upcoming World Cup. So in summing up, I think Ronaldo will have the better season, although I believe Messi is the better player. It will certainly be an interesting season and I look forward to watching the El Classico.

I disagree that "CR9" dissappears in the big games. Throughout last years champions league he kept coming up with the goods when man u needed him most; inter he scored, porto he scored the screamer and arsenal he scored that rocket free kick. In the final the whole of man u played awfully and ronaldo was probably one of their best players. Also i hate to bring it up but he did score against up in the CL final as well. Now i also just want to add after all that that i absolutely hate the prick. I think he will make a joke out of la liga personally and absolutely tear the game to shreds. There have been constant examples over the years of players not been able to handle the prem and then start excelling in la liga with the latest of those being diego forlan. Well here is a player who more than excelled in the prem and is going to turn la liga on its head.

I am hoping for a Barcelona win in La Liga next season simply because the amount spent on players by Real Madrid.

I don't want it too be the Messi show though, more like the Iniesta show ( i know he scored that late goal but he is a fantastic player who deserves the same respect as Ronaldo and Messi ).

However, Lampard will win the Ballon Dor after Messi does ;)
