The Shed End In The press

Featured Replies

Good to see that 3 out of the 6 comments in the Fans on the Web feature in tonight's London Evening Standard came from The Shed End. any more of this and we will have to start running some media training!

Chelseafan, Blize and Forzby are all quoted on page 67 in the sports section of the printed version. Don't know if it's online or not.

The article on last nights match is also worth a read.

Why don't they quote me, the c*nts?

It's only the Evening Standard, BlueBeard - it's not as if it was something important like iQuotes. You've got lots of quotes on iQuotes! My favourite is the one about the cheese! ;)

And here it is, in case anyone doesn't know what cheese quote I was referring ro:

"Pauly - I ate 48 slices of peeled cheese and masturbated on the kitchen floor

Bluebeard - what an unbelievable coincidence....."

I was in WHSmiths at Victoria and I was about to buy a magazine for 3 quid when the man behind the counter said if I took an Evening Standard with it then I'd only have to pay £2.50 altogether.

Even then I had to think about it.

Nice to see they use quotes from the forums, the Daily Mail do so too but they like to call them 'death threats'.

Bluebeard - "Why don't they quote me, the c*nts?"

I'm sending this one to the Standard.

That one's gonna be a headline! With a picture of BlueBeard under it. :(

That would confuse their readers - the last person they would expect to come out with a comment like that would be Charlie Drake

I think we had a similar conversation in Hastings earlier in the year

How about Carroll O'Connor?

Then again, I guess it would be equally confusing to get such a comment from a dead American actor as it is to get one from a dead English actor.

Thanks for that, bonetti, you know how to cheer a bloke up
