Dragons age: Origins

right people, if any of you are into your RPG`s then you must buy this game. i got it yesterday and with the wife out last night (house to myself, fantastic) i thought i would have an hour or so. 5 hours later and i had barely started. Bioware do it again.

You got it on PC or console?

Heard its a lot better on pc since the gameplay is like world of warcraft, would consider buying it for pc if I had a good one :D

I read the topic title and assumed you were runnng a sweepstake on Moi's birth year and place.

There are no depths you won't descend to to get yourself into iquotes!

got it on the 360, i got sick of chasing PC specs to be able to play games a long time ago.

installed it yesterday, needless to say i didn't have too much sleep ::ChElSeaFLag::

thankfully it doesn't need a powerhouse, runs smoothly on my pc with intel e2180 proc(2 ghz), 2gb ram and radeon 3650 vga.

i love the different origins for races and classes, it begs to replay the game a few times :tank2:

its superb isnt it. i started with the human first, gonna hopefully play the others once ive completed this one. the only problem im having is with the difficulty spikes. i`m cruising along battering most things when ill take a quest and get hammered in less than a minute. got shale now though so thats helping.

I'm still messing about with Oblivion, but I've found it a little tough to get into. Not sure if I've unearthed too many quests and some of the ones I'm gong on are too hard. But the whole sword play is a bit one dimensional...am I missing something?

I see that this game hasn't been as hyped as much as Oblivion or Fallout 3 then?

And I'm waiting for Assassin's Creed 2 before I get anything else yet

its been hyped fairly well, but i think people are seeing it as a game to play while wating for biowares next mass effect game. couldnt get into assasins creed, far too samey after the first few missions. playing borderlands too at the minute, belting game and a good laugh.

Ahh, AC has a cracking story to it, and I've heard AC2 is even better!

i liked the story, i just found the missions became very samey and it annoyed me. the graphics and set up was superb, but it looked to me like they had spent too long on making it look and feel good and forget to flesh out the gameplay.

Ahh, I can see where your coming from. I think that's where I got hooked, I just wanted to do the missions quickly to go free roam again!

that's why the gameplay didn't bother me that much, the story was fantastic

they have improved the gameplay for ac2 apparently so it's gonna be a great game

Sooo late for this, but I've been playing it for the past couple of weeks and it's amazing. Fantastic story, excellent mythology (I always fancy that more than the actual game), very tactical and intelligent gameplay. And you gotta love the "romance options" with your fellow adventurers. Showed it to my room mate - think I've just ruined his exam weeks :D

I can't wait for Mass Effect 2, awesome RPG. If you have not played the first one, I recommend doing so.

Neither can I! Was going to start a thread on it but didnt think that many people would be bothered.

Bit gutted about Amazon raising their price from £29.99 to £36.99 though.

They certainly have, I completed it a few weeks back, and I loved every second of it!

excellent game isnt it. i loved the storytelling too, the amount of background stories and information is incredible, if you read all the info you gather.

Got the game a few days ago, currently stuck in some weird dream world and I have no idea how the f**k to get out of it.

Really good game tho and has had me stuck for a few hrs a day since I got it, luckily I got the cold weather and snow to blame for a bit much gaming these last days :P
