June 19, 201016 yr I've just got back from seeing When You're Strange - a documentary about The Doors, narrated by Johnny Depp. It uses footage (some of it previously unseen) from the band's formation in1965 till Morrison's death in 1971. I was mesmerised by it and could easily have stayed in my seat and watched it again. Indeed I may go back on Moday! Edited June 19, 201016 yr by moi

I love documentaries and it's been a while since I saw a good music documentary. "It Might Get Loud" was probably the last one that I really liked.
June 20, 201016 yr A couple of strange animes last night - I can't remember what they're called. Something to do with raccoons.
June 21, 201016 yr Remember the Titans with Morgan Freeman. A fairly decent feel-good film. Also [loosely] based on a true story.
June 24, 201016 yr Watched Dogma last night, again. One of my all time favourite movies, with a perfect cast too. One of Kevin Smiths early films which along with Clerks had me thinking he was gonna make some brilliant films, but most after Dogma turned out pretty sh*t.
June 25, 201016 yr Watched Superbad for the umpteenth time. I love it so much, it's the ultimate teen movie.

June 26, 201016 yr Wayne's World and Anchorman are both brilliant, though I found Wayne's World very bizarre. Anchorman is a film you just have to keep quoting from. I love lamp, for example :D

July 1, 201016 yr Had a bit of a Jeff Bridges day. Had a look at Crazy Heart the film he won best actor for this year, excellent but a bit depressing so I chucked on the Big Lebowski after. Love that film so quotable, in the Anchorman class as far as quotability goes IMO.

July 1, 201016 yr The Big Lebowski is one of the best films ever made, superb stoner movie. The bit where they release Donny's ashes and they blow back into the Dude's face may well be the best piece of black comedy ever put together on film.
