I would only welcome Gerrard to Chelsea if:

a) It was a free transfer

B) His only role in the team was as backup to Frank Lampard

I wouldn't be too hostile to the idea of Torres at Chelsea... as long as he and Drogba don't encourage each other to dive more...

It's a shame it's not going to happen really...

Torres is a great player and I hoped to see him at Chelsea when he played for Atletico, but that didn't happen.

Even though he's been at Liverpool I think I could accept him here. But no diving, just scoring.

On the other hand, if we buy him Liverpool might be able to afford to either sack Rafa or buy some good players that'll make the team better, and I really do not want that.

Anyway, I think the'yve just come up with another story to a player we'd already been linked with. No quotes in that story either. I still think Aguero would be a main target, and maybe another midfielder and we've been linked with many of those, I guess time will tell
