Was asked recently by some of the young members in my office what was the best match i ever saw...

& after some consideration it has to be V Newcastle 1984,great game,Nevin on fire, you could see the atmosphere!

Loads of others but this one sticks in my mind as if played yesterday.

Best wishes Jim.

one i really enjoyed versus sp*rs...cant remember the year but I think it was when we were having (Matthew Harding) north Stand built...

Trailing 0-2 and they get a penalty just before half time and miss,we then came back to win (i think 3-2 or 4-2)

Loads of others but that was sweet.

fa cup fourth round, 2-0 down at half time, come back to win 4-2. The look on their players faces. and going on to lift the cup. magical.

If only i could remember who it was we were playing :D

Mine too Alex, that I can remember. The other one had to be Barca at the Bridge with Terry heading in the winner. Guddy and Duffer scoring early on and then Barca mounted a hel of a comeback.

Great game

Semi-Final vs Liverpool to reach our 1st CL Final.

What a game, had me shaking soooo much felt like it was about life and death. Brilliant when the final whistle went...

Beating Arsenal 2-1 at Highbury in 2004 to knock them out of the Champions League. I'd waited years for us to beat them having to suffer the many FA Cup defeats and league defeats (most painful was Kanu scoring that hattrick against us ) but when we equalised in this game I could sense something special. When Bridgey scored with only a few minutes remaining I was ecstatic. I knew then that we were destined for greatness under Abromavich.

For me it has to be v Bolton 3- 0 down at half time , we were piss poor . 15 mins to go still 3-0 down somehow we eneded up wining 4 -3 can still see big sam's gutted face as we run on the pitch , happy days ::ChELSeAFaN::

The Chelsea 4-4 Liverpool is my favourite game of all time. Our come back in the second half was sensational, even if we almost lost it, the tension created was second to none, blinding game.

I got chucked out of The Shed before half timer and tried to watch from the staircase of the flats opposite. Got back in when they opened the North Stand gates (pretty early as many were leaving) and saw most of it. Great fightback all down to Flasher.

peckham, how on earth can you get chucked out of a home game against bolton ? I know that they did not try to take the shed ! Maybe too many light ales?

I had an air horn, blasted it right into the copper´s ear.

It wasn't the Bolton game, but it was a night match around that time, and I remember some big guy getting chucked out of the White Wall part of the Shed for shouting 'Get Bumstead on!'. I think the copper though he was swearing!

One of my favourites was our first game back in europe in 1995 against viktoria zizkov at the bridge. I think we one 3-2 and Wisey hit a pearler, but the atmosphere was sensational. Their chairman said that with those fans behind them chelsea should win the cup! At the time just getting back in europe was massive, and remember all the hoo haa about the away game, when the czechs were scared we were gonna send a mental hooligan army over to prague, and started messing around with the venue (not too far wrong). Ended up in Jablonec i believe.

Same season v Bruges. Brilliant comeback, another fantastic night. Much maligned Furlong on the scoresheet. Hard to believe hes still playing professionally!
