After reading the papers today I feel like I attended a different game yesterday. I'm not by any means going to talk about how we deserved to win but I'm not gonna waste my life reading about rooney being back to his best and terry getting worse, apart from the first goal Terry had Rooney in his pocket, not just Rooney, the clown who thinks he's good enough for just one name couldn't win a header against JT. I'm not saying it was his best game but no means his worst. My opinion we need anelka to play a central roll and not drift if drogba's not on. let's not forget it wasn't our strongest back 4 either, I'm not a big believer in Paulo or hilario, with cech and Alex back and Ivan or boswinga back out wide things will be a lot tighter.

Whats all this noise about JT, lamps looking rusty? lets be honest the amount of goals lamps put away for us last season not just the number but the ones that mattered the most, and JT maybe not his best season last season with a few mistakes but still led us to the double. This is our season BPL, FAC, ECL all led by our captain and lets be honest the should be England captain a lot of the senior players know that its now or never and the hunger of Drogba, Terry Etc will bring it home.

one of the best games i saw in person rather than televised was when we beat blackburn rovers 4-3 thanks to a last minute goal by gianfranco zola absolute pearler in the top corner everyone went mad i was 10 years old.

Hi guys, new to the forum, signed up to keep me busy when im at work if im not on site and to see whats going on in the world of CFC been a blues supporter since i was 7, the three italians (di matteo, Vialli and Zola) really had a big impact on me as a youngster. not yet a season ticket holder as im only an apprentice spark and between my car and social life it leaves me with a lot less than needed for that, try to get to as many games as possible though! hope for another successful season especially in the Champions League, It'll take a lot to forget that final against Utd, on my birthday... when Ronaldo missed it was nearly the best birthday present in the world.....

I dont think retirement is ideal, maybe just refuse to play under Capello who in my eyes needs to be binned off, Big pay out or no pay out. Whoever is next in the England Hot seat needs to reassign JT as Captain, i didnt really understand Capellos decision, Personal life is completely different to professional and JT showed he had no issues while playing for us, not only that but his replacement Ferdinand?!!? someone who failed to show up to a drug test, i wonder why that was! and second in command Gerrard whose had just as many issues in his personal life, Its bonkers if you ask me, i think capello just wanted to set an example and picked the wrong person to do it on.

Does anyone else have an issue with the way Chelsea put tickets on sale? maybe its my own fault for not being a season ticket holder but last year in particular i got real bugged about it. I attended every FA cup game last season apart from the third round due to holidays, i went to every game with the missus and sometimes my mates little lad, yet when it came to the final i was to low down the pecking order to get any tickets! it doesnt help that the FA give a massive percentage to sponsors and other coperates that aren't even fussed about what there watching! it makes me even more angry when people buy tickets just to sell for three or four times more than they paid. I know some clubs do a structure where they sell tickets for semi's/ finals depending on the amount of other "stubs" you have from previous rounds...

What about the hotel at Stamford bridge? failing that try a travel inn or premier inn website and it will find all there hotels in distance to stadium, if you book early enough it'll be a bit cheaper
