The Upper Hand

Featured Replies

We all come up against this stuff, what this thread looks to display and share are your clever replies to the standard drivel Chelsea fans get from rival fans.

Man U fan: Aye, Liverpool handed you the title just to stop us getting another League title.

Chelsea fan: No, we took it by beating you everytime we seen you this season.

:D

Liverpool fan: Come back when you've won 19 titles.

Chelsea fan: Race you to twenty. I'll put £20 on Chelsea getting there first.

Liverpool fan: Chelsea have no history.

Chelsea fan: Liverpool have no future.

Well' you get the idea.

My clever and witty reply to any opposition fans always tends to be pretty much the same one..."F*ck off and die, you bunch of syphilitic w*nkers, Chelsea rule so get f*ckin' used to it ya rat shagging sh*tc*nts", or words to that effect.

I recommend other Chelsea fans to try this, it's very effective :D

Applauds!

Though when you talk to scousers then surely you need to make it shorter? More than 3-4 words in a sentence and they get confused.

Liverpool fan: Glory Hunter

Chelsea fan: How were Liverpool's fortunes the season you started supporting them? Now give me my ferking big mac meal before I report you to your supervisor.

I'm only joking Liverpool fans, I truley don't mean to imply that any of you have jobs.

Is your "ormeau" an elm tree or an abalone shell, Reido?

Probably from the elm trees planted in ormeau park Moi, or it might be a bakery

It's the area in Belfast I live in. But I'll give you the full three points because the area does derive it's name from the french word for elm tree (I think that's right isn't it, oremeau is french for elm? I'm not good at languages). It was Chichester, Earl of Belfast's favorite tree which was abundant in the area in the late 18th century. The family had a grand stately home in Ormeau and after several generations donated a large area of the estate dedicated for the use of public recreation giving Belfast its first public park.

I certainly think you get the points and a round of applause

Dont be so ridiculous BB, you know they dont understand words that arent single syllable.

So that makes it sound even more threatening to them.

'giro' has two syllables, they understand that well enough. They also seem to be getting the hang of 'nothing' as they have repeated it at the close of the last three seasons. Arsenal fans can say it in four different languages they're that used to it.

I dont think they understand giro, just the sound it makes. sort of like when you teach a dog to fetch, it doesnt recognise the word fetch but the sound it makes. Scouse kids are brought up on the noise "Giro" makes and it just becomes second nature to grunt it.

Please don't take my hubcaps away.

Giro is a way of transferring money, particularly benefits. Don't they do that in Ireland? How is unemployment benefit paid?

Ha i am stupid :Connie_threaten: i know that kind of giro but we dont use it for benefits here, we only use em for paying stuff insurance and things, we call benefits social welfare (dole for short), funny though implying that all liverpool fans are on benefit...........oh wait its true aha ha ha ha is there a lot of fiat puntos in liverpool.

Re: talking to liverpool fans jsut say this

"We are making history while you are becoming history"

ROFL

I thought "Giro" was just how scousers pronounce "girl"

:Connie_threaten: :D aha ha ha ha ha

I think we both deserve a round of applause

:loser:::clap2:: ::clap2:: There you go!

We call it the dole too, but the GIRO is actually the piece of paper on which your entitlement is printed and you take it to the Post Office and swop it for real money (I think)
