November 12, 2025Nov 12 Hello you lot !Does anyone remember a game at WHL when they didn't want any Chelsea fans attending? The days before memberships etc. To ensure only spurs fans got in, they had to show evidence that they had been to the previous home game . Can't remember if they had to produce the program or a voucher or what, but we went over there anyway and bought what was required off of the touts outside and then got in.We had to stand amongst their fans and keep quiet, I think we scored and couldn't celebrate, but nearly pissed ourselves trying not to laugh !! Anyone remember it ??
November 12, 2025Nov 12 Clattenburg's shameful admission on how he decided to referee our game v Spurs in the " Battle of the Bridge" I allowed them to self-destruct'Incredibly, however, there were no red cards issued by referee Mark Clattenburg, despite Erik Lamela deliberately treading on Cesc Fabregas's hand and Eric Dier cleaning out Hazard late on."It was pure theatre," Clattenburg later recalled. "I went in with a gameplan: that I didn't want Tottenham Hotspur blaming Mark Clattenburg that they were losing the title. There should have been three red cards to Tottenham.
